eh, isit? my sis was actually complaining to me that LiT is so overplayed in KL radios. tho she wasn't very sure what i meant by "the newer one with singing or the one without"... i listen to online radio streaming when in S'pore. mostly just tune into Absolute Radio cos the music they play's more suited to my taste + they seem to be Coldplay friendly. but the Internet connection when i'm in KL sucks...way too choppy to listen to it. :(

heh...yeah, i can imagine what a headache a guitar & amp will be. my challenge will be my PC, which is about the size of a toaster, but i can't possibly check it in either. i ended up checking out the unis online with Google Street View, actually. haha it's kinda surreal "walking" down the streets & checking out where the halls are, your faculty's building(s), scouting out where the nearest music shop, cafe, supermarket, ATM are in relation to the halls... :cool: haven't settled my visa actually. :\ i need the uni to re-issue me a new unconditional offer letter after my acceptance cos of the major changes in the student visa application process after 31 Mar. & cos it's Easter break now over there, they'll only send it out after mid Apr. have you gotten your offers already?

hmmm...tried looking at AirAsia's ticket prices? tho if you're going for studies, then AirAsia might not be your best option luggage wise cos you need to pay by weight for the luggage you're bringing on. those who got the London flights cheap are bloody lucky! my dad gave me false hope last month. he *thought* he saw tickets going for like SG$500 to London in May, so my mum was all like "let's make a trip there! you can go see the unis!"........& then it turned out that there's no tickets in that price range. :( tho i don't really wanna go so soon just to see the unis cos i've decided on a uni & i don't wanna be disappointed at my choice...just in case ah...it's been ages since i last had jaffa cakes. heh & i'm sure you'll love your time in UK, esp London, when you're not on your Coldplay adventure. :D @Pai : LRT to Manchester!!! :stunned: that must be 1 super LRT..hehehe

aye...toilets, food & water are important. so's coffee. short of bringing my own (which i don't really want to cos i wanna travel light), anywhere nearby to grab a cuppa? that said, i'm worried about the queue & just how early i really need to be there. cos for toilets, food & water, that's all a moot point once your inside & the show starts, imo.

that would've been cool if they started doing it in S'pore! haha but i can imagine that there's a lot of red tape & logistics to work out before this can ever be done. not to mention that you're looking at distributing at concerts with thousands in attendance at each venue.

actually, neither have i. not to a roadside hawker stall anyway. i've been eating at shopping mall food courts recently or just grabbing a sandwich/salad.

being in the service industry has made me more appreciative of the whole logic behind the Make Trade Fair campaign somehow...oddly enough. & i have to admit i did love the iTunes ad. enough to want to make a wallpaper out of it. haha but maybe you're right that the guys got pressured by the label. i read somewhere that Chris looks forward to a day when the band are no longer signed to a label (more freedom?). all these video game tie-ins & on popular games/platforms kinda stink of marketing gimmickery. which tends to lead right back to the greedy record labels, imo.

guh...i can barely make it past 200-300m! he'd run rings all around me on a proper running track! :p but then, i've never trained for distance running/marathons. was always assigned to do 100m dash/relay in school. :(
