Clocks
the roadies probably bolt the chair down to the stage floor...just to make sure it doesn't come crashing down under him. cos i can't imagine how the chair stays in place otherwise. :p

How far would you travel to see your beloved Coldplay?!
i actually have that fear...for U2. cos let's face it, they are never gonna come to M'sia for their world tour(s). i wanna see them in their prime-ish & not when they do some reunion tour years on when their music can only be found in the Classic Rock section of a music shop.

yeah! *runs around the office all hyper...in my own head* but, as i said, i'm actually not going all the way just to see them play on home ground. it's more of a pleasant coincidence in terms of timings. Malaysia/Singapore to UK is no joke! it's quite a trip...distance-wise & financially. :\ hats off to those who are willing to save up & do just that! oh, & i'll chip in a dollar or 2 to the fund to send them teeny boppers to wherever it is we can afford to send them off to... :P at least he didn't say he loves her dad's music! then i'd think he really was drunk... :dozey: i saw an episode of Hannah Montana yesterday (don't ask why!) & her dad sang some song called "I Want My Mullet Back"! *faints*

Hello Malaysia!
27 Apr @ Berjaya Mall! they're having promo for that day too...1st 300 customers get prizes, e.g. 1st customer of the day gets 1yr's supply of donuts & i think 2nd prize is 1mth's supply of donuts. :shocked2: it's super soft stuff! not like the bread-like Dunkin Donuts. but i only like the normal Original Glazed donuts, actually. cos when i tried their other flavours also in London a year back, i found the flavoured ones generally way too sweet.

Do you play an instrument?
my calluses had to be re-developed...cos i stopped for a long time. so when i first tried playing a guitar again & it was a steel stringed acoustic, my fingers were sore after a few minutes. then after a while when the calluses formed back, i can play for longer....just not better. :p

How far would you travel to see your beloved Coldplay?!
i'm originally from Malaysia & will be going to see Coldplay in Wembley come September. :D but my trip isn't deliberately just to see the band play tho...cos i'm actually going over for uni & the concert's at just the right time for me + i actually managed to get a ticket(!). so i guess there was some luck or Coldplay karma at work here.

Do you play an instrument?
"tiny petite" sounds better than "short & stubby fingers"...haha ;) i think ppl generally say the classical's easier to play cos of the nylon strings being less painful to hold down. but that's just my opinion, of course. it's probably an individual thing anyway. awww...i think you've nothing to worry about with Jonny as your guitar hero. :D

Tapulous To Release Coldplay Edition Of Tap Tap Revenge Next Week
i've absolutely no clue either how the Revenge Mode works...it isn't the bits of the songs when the butterflies come out, right?

Do you play an instrument?
you probably have the same tiny petite Asian girl hands as me. that's why you find the classical guitar fretboard/neck too big. still playable, but takes quite a bit of stretching around. :( on a non-technical level, i personally like the sound of the acoustic guitar's steel strings over the classical guitar's nylon strings. & i think the acoustic guitar is a better match sound-wise for pop music. but steel strings hurt the fingers more when you don't have the calluses yet...from a newbie's POV.

Chris and Jonny
he did look pretty adorable there. looked exactly like a little kid caught red handed by his rock loving parents playing jazz. & here's my interpretation for this photo... :P Jonny : oh shit! that DID NOT just happen! what've i done?!?! Chris : you bet it did, Jonny boy! hehehehe :wink3: Will : oh, jeez...my poor eyes!!! why did i have to bear witness to that??? Guy : right, then. you all did not see anything here just now. i didn't see it.......so it didn't happen. lalalalalalalalala

Confirmed: Coldplay singer a jerk
from the get go it was fairly obvious, imo, that the writer doesn't like Coldplay & their songs. yet he & "The Wife" were interested enough to attempt to get a photo of Chris Martin. even if it's just as proof that they saw him (cos why else would he be bothered even to attempt it twice, really, when he's not a fan?). & i find it kind of ironic that he calls out Apple's name as "poorly named" & then goes on to talk about Nicolas Cage - the guy who named his kid 'Kal-El' after Superman. doesn't mean that just cos Nicolas Cage feels that it's fine for ppl to greet his kids in public & all, then every other celeb must be as open as him. there are other celebs like Ewan MacGregor who unlike Chris don't like being photographed in public with their kids.

eh...since April last year? that's ages, man! :stunned: i applied only over the X'mas/New Year break & heard from them after CNY. but i did kena a case of the admin mixing up my application. almost kena ship off to take the course taught in China for some reason. also a reputable uni. i was like "no!!!!!! don't you dare!!!!!! i applied to go to UK, not China!!!!!!" (but my actual email to them expressing this was more diplomatic & less panicky) aiyoh....i think i need to stay away fro Uniqlo lah, like this. i'm now afraid if i set foot in there i'll come out with a bigger dent in my pocket than there already is. then again, the fact that they need to control the crowds going in means it must be jam packed. i don't really like to fight with the crowds when shopping. :\ (attempt at self consolation)

haha...i think it's best you settle the accommodation for sure first. cos they'll ask you questions, be it at the visa application interview or at immigration in Heathrow. on my last holiday trip, i had put down my mum's friend's place as the address. & at Heathrow i was asked what's her name! i daym near panicked cos i suddenly realised that i don't actually know her name cos i just call her "Aunty <some nickname>". :stunned: oh, btw, another thing to note about AirAsia if you do end up taking that to London. they land in the budget terminal at Stanstead, not Heathrow.

i actually have a laptop already. but it's just an eeePC. & i can't really afford to spend on getting a proper laptop. so my plan is to bring over my CPU & mouse, keyboard. the rest i can get when i'm in UK already. you should try using Google Street View! haha you can take a virtual trip the the Bakery. ;) hmmm...y'know for the visa, my friend told me that you can actually apply already if you have all the necessary documents ready. it's just that the earliest date they'll issue the visa for is not more than 3mths before your course starts.
