Sorry but I think we can not compare the albums because they are too different from each other. At least this is my personal guideline...I don't want to compare then, for me it is impossible but let me say that I love both.

Sorry Coldplay1317...but some things cannot be true. So, if MM is the first single of the new album and ETIAW is just a standalone one, why Major Minus isn't mentioned on the cover? Sorry, but they would promote MM more if its really the first single of the new LP.

Do you really think that songs of this possible EP could be on LP5? O.O Sorry, but I can't believe that Coldplay would do something like that.

Can't believe, that they would give away songs like Hurts Like Heaven or Charlie Brown for a couple of songs which they release some months before the album. I can't think it. They have to be on the album! -.- If they really release these songs next week in form of a little EP or so, THEN I'M REALLY EXCITED HOW LP5 IS GOING TO SOUND LIKE...

I really loved 42! One of the best songs of VLV in my opinion. Does that mean, that I will like MM? :P

@Cobalt This is most likely, with regar to one of the last tweets of Will. Until now, they havn't a final tracklist. It could be possible, that they planned with MM last year, but Chris wrote a brilliant new song or some plans for the guideline of the album changed, so MM was ripped off.

It is so hard...really, its harder for me to create some theories then just wait and not think about it. :P Consequently, I just wait until next week...we will see.

@Juan They had some problems with the equipment, some parts didn't hear anything...they wanted to record and release the as far as I know.

Yeah, on the one hand they are super cautious when they gave us SOME news of LP5 but on the other hand they give us without promotion half of the new album? Think the same!

Yeah, we know, its a important aspect, but nothing new. We already talk about it. Plus, look at the lyrics...very familiar to the LP5-stuff.

We have to wait until next week...then they will announce some facts about the new songs...

When they want to promote their new album, caused by a release of a single of the LP, why Major Minus isn't on the cover? ETIAW seems to be the "big song" and MM is just alongside ETIAW. Maybe ETIAW AND MM are on LP5 (kind of double A-side) or only ETIAW and MM is the b-side. Today, I strongly believe that ETIAW is on the new album, but MM not. Another interesting point is, that Coldplay.com wrote "ETIAW / Major Minus"...

To be honest...I don't know anything! Until yesterday I thought ETIAW was just a fun song for summer and festivals (no video, no relation to LP5, different sound, no physical release). But now we have completely changed facts and its impossible to predict something... we have to wait...but I'm tired to wait again...

Really? There are several options which are in my head but honestly: I have no idea what the plan could be. I demand facts, Coldplay! Hope, next week we'll know more about that mysterious songs and singles and b sides and a sides and the whole album...

But the cover shows only ETiAW...

But I think, that these new songs are masterpieces...can't imangine that they have better stuff... ;)
