They played in Abu Dhabi last March. Live music is allowed in most Middle Eastern countries except for probably Iran and Saudi Arabia (I think). We get concerts by Western performers all the time in the UAE. It's probably that there aren't as large Coldplay fanbases in the other Middle Eastern countries :\
