I also had headphones on. It was magical. That transition between Oceans and ASFOS makes me anticipate the album more than anything :)

So...as you guys know, Target is doing that promotional thing where you can win origami stars with Coldplay's lyrics in them, right? Well...I noticed the handwritten ASFOS lyrics in the video (they were shown for about a second at around 0:03 in the video), and the second line seems to have different wording than the handwritten ASFOS lyrics that were released this past week from the lyric hunt. It's not like it's a huge difference, but it's with the words "gonna" and "I'm going to". It's not a big deal, I know, but still :P I wonder what the OFFICIAL lyrics will say... Also, I noticed that the lyric hunt lyrics have a bunch of 6 sided stars, whereas the Target ones have 5 sides. Take a look: Target Ad: Lyric Hunt:

That was the brightest yellow, and quite possibly the hardest thing I've ever had to read on my computer screen....BUT... Yeah, it sounds like a cool idea :) Sadly, we'd have to wait almost 10 months to celebrate the first one! I think it's a cool idea. We should do something creative on that day...like..more than just "Wear a Coldplay t-shirt on this day!" you know? I'll be thinking... (We got time :P )

I totally agree with you! But on the other hand, at least I don't have to spend extra money to buy the same song twice (on the album and the single :P ) But I will say, I miss B-sides (I know that's another topic, but still....singles used to come with b-sides!)

Or maybe something that has to do with A Sky Full of Stars? Since this weekend it'll be released online...and they're playing it in the US for the first time...so I'm sure everyone will make a big deal about it, specially Target :)

Lucas Spain/USA "FREAKING COLDPLAY IS AWESOME!!!" - those are the words that go through my head when I listen to X&Y. This was one of the albums that inspired me to be a musician. I love it and always will. Fix You will also always be my favorite song. There are no words that can describe the feelings I get inside when I listen to X&Y. Thank you, Coldplay, Chris, Jonny, Guy, Will, Phill and all the people who worked on this album, for making a truly fantastic piece of art.

I feel like I'm going to be in the minority of people in the forums who REALLY loves O/Oceans/Midnight and also REALLY loves ASFOS/Magic, etc. I just love Coldplay and they can't disappoint me. Especially not when they do what they love.
