I would honestly bet money they are not breaking up after this album. Aside from the fact they say this every album release, of all the times to possibly end it -- now would the the worst. They've been closer than before since MX ended and I see no signs of that fading.

I like both of these so much more than Ghost Stories. If there's anything I truly dislike about the last era, it was the album art. It seemed very empty and uninspired (although I know that's highly unpopular opinion around here). This one is a bit much in some areas, but I love it overall. If the final album cover looks like this, it'll be in my top three covers of the band.

Nah, this stuff is immaculately well timed. There's a chance they could have gone unnoticed for a day or so, but with this sort of stuff, it's planned down to specific times and hours.

I guess I don't understand why they would fake it when the band themselves already confirmed it. It's definitely real.

A good example of this is Reflektor's advertising a couple years ago. It was neat art, but none of it ended up being on the actual album cover. Dude, Game 5 was freakin' nuts. I'm so happy!

Whoever wrote this does a poor job of fact checking, because this was taken from a fake Tumblr 'source' who said the single would be out in mid-August, and gave us 'tidbits' like this for a few weeks.
