OK, so I had 2 computers going, pulling tickets. Best I could get was Floor, Section 8 (center, last section on floor), Row 9). Had been hoping for first level, closer to stage but nothing was coming up. I may still see what I can pull with the general sale. If I can get something better, these will be on the market at face value. This is so darn stressful, I finished the sale with less than a minute to go! Now I need to wait for my heart rate to come back to normal! :P

Not worth worrying about. Don't listen to what you don't like. There are plenty of a bands playing the kind of music you prefer.

I had the same experience...better tickets available for the general sale vs. the pre-sale. I make myself half sick trying to get tickets to favorite bands. I have 2 computers going, stressing over whether to throw back tickets or not. Ironically, I've gotten the best seats for bands I'm not insane over because I decided to go at the last minute and found bargains on stub hub. But I'm not willing to gamble on Coldplay.

This is my favorite MX song and I fear I'm not going to hear it live. Ever. :cry:

Trying to get tickets is a major stress. I'm not convinced that you get better tickets with the presale. I've gotten presale tix and then checked out what was available at the beginning of the general sale and could have gotten better seats.

OK, I've already got frayed nerves worrying about getting tickets. I've got a American Express so that's not an issue. However, there are only 7 shows listed on the amex site. If you go to ticketmaster's site and type in Coldplay, it brings me to Comcast tix. That shows the show with 2 different amex options: amex presale & amex preferred. Could they make this any more confusing? I'm going to take Monday off from work, just so I can buy tickets. I'd like to know what I was doing beforehand. If anyone has any insight, I'd love to hear it.:confused::confused:

Yes, I found it interesting that the title was chosen so early. Also, back when Chris was doing interviews for Viva and was talking about being banned from the studio, it never occurred to me that they were already working on the new album. I don't know what I thought, but that possibility never crossed my mind.

Sorry, nope, not me. When I am in the mood for old Coldplay, I play those records. When I feel like listening to new Coldplay, I play those records. Through the years, there have been lots of bands I adored, who "progressed" and I lost interest. So far that hasn't happened with Coldplay. Not saying it never will, but it hasn't yet.

Not a strong story per se, but a loosely connected idea -- finding love/beauty in oppressive/ugly surroundings -- the story told a million times: boys finds girl, they fall in love, they break up, they possibly get back together (or, if not, realize life goes on and it's all good). There you go!:)
