Way way too early for me to rank anything. I don't think I could definitely rank any album as my favorites change with my mood.

I've ordered the super duper pop-up version and plan to still buy a CD next Tuesday, but I swore up & down on everything that is holy that I would not listen to a leak. I even stopped listening to the live stuff 2 weeks ago. I lasted about 45 minutes before I caved. I'm a weak and pathetic woman. :\

Serious, did this thing explode from just one original source? Holy crap, that's sort of scary. I woke up to news of PofC and before I knew what was happening, it exploded. Talk about patient zero! :shocked2:

Anyone notice a trend recently -- that Chris is allowing (and sometimes initiating) mentions of his family life? This has to be a conscious decision on his part because he could certainly refuse as he has in the past. Interesting.

Crazy, I'm also a subscriber and just got the Pink Floyd issue in Tuesday's mail. WTF, it's not like I live in the boonies.

I think in this economy and this music environment, the industry is heaping a lot of hope on MX and the boys. It's not just music sales. There's shows, concessions, etc. I just read an article in my local news that was talking about all the peripheral jobs that are created by a big tour coming through. They were talking about U2's current 360 tour but it would apply to a band like Coldplay too. Things like parking, local transit...it all counts. I find it ironic that a lot of the industry also likes to poke digs at them.

Huh? I must be blind or haven't gotten the most recent issue. I just got the issue with Dark Side of the Moon on the cover and I don't see any review of MX. :\

Just got back from the Philadelphia Flyers hockey game and they played ETIAW right before the team came out. Since this was the first home game of the season, I have no idea whether this is going to be played before each game or not, but it was fun hearing it.

I swear, it's like the entire industry is depending on them for their Christmas bonuses.

Nice review! It's so hard for them to get any respect from the critical masses. So happy to hear that it sounds like they have found a balance between Waterfall-big and slowing it down.

Asinine to review an album without listening to it.

I'm never seen "Glee" but this is a nice performance. And I think an artist would feel a sense of pride when their songs are covered.
