  1. Hasn't anybody noticed the UFO part in ETIAW? "And we saw, oh this light I swear you emerge blinking into, to tell me it's alright" That to me is referring to a beam from the bottom of a UFO with an alien emerging and becoming clearer in the light.
  2. Just messed about for ten minutes on the guitar and I think I've worked out the chords. Capo on 6th Verse: E and A repeated throughout until the chorus and then B Oh you, used your heart as a weapon A And it hurts like heaven and then carried on.
  3. There's a video where the screen behind Will says M Xylobrytes, so I think that's what it'll be.
  4. Following on from what you've said, I have to add that I personally love those 10 seconds of drumming, but it sounds like its itching for a chorus to follow it rather than the song ending.. but I do love it!
  5. - "You can hurt, hurt me bad" - Fade to just acoustic guitar in this section ^ - The "raaaaaaaaaaise" in "but still I'll raise the flag" - Jonny's guitar riff throughout - The return of the drum from VIVA era - Will's awesome drum solo at the end - The change to minor at "Maybe I'm in the gap between the two trapezes" Feel free to add to the list, I've grown to love it whilst being previously uncertain through numerous ipod listens on my way back to the uni library :laugh3:
  6. Total agreement, and I would remind people that coldplay DO read these forums, and if not them, members of their production, so anything insulting you say about them will probably be taken quite badly, as the vast majority of the flack they're getting is coming from their fans, not the media.
  7. Think of the dancing people are gonna be doing when this is played at the festivals! It's awesome!
  8. Good find! Don't know what to make of it haha.. here's the song: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kgq1g-2cQ54]Peter Allen - I Go To Rio[/ame]
  9. Sounds so so so good! [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9246XgksTos]YouTube - ‪Coldplay - Every Teardrop is a Waterfall‬‏[/ame]
  10. Is there anyone in London who could take a day trip to Millennium Mills and photograph some of the graffiti they did? It would be very interesting!
  11. Chris looks very Bruce Springsteen... Anyway on facebook it says they were photographed at Millennium Mills in the London Docklands, and you can see stuff on the walls in the photo such as Ufo etc.. So they obviously added to the graffiti. Is there anyone nearby that could go check it out?
  12. I just thought yesterday that the video was so excellently done... the suspense created with that reversed bass combined with the slow pan upwards to reveal "every tear's a waterfall", the song title we had all been waiting for. Their marketing team is awesome.
  13. Reversing the audio on audacity, it DOES sound like the bass is the reversed! I'll try to upload an mp3.
  14. Guys I think you should lower the expectations of a single being released imminently... There's a likelihood people at ColdplayHQ if not the band members themselves are browsing this topic and being worried of disappointing the fans with whatever they have in stock for us as far as updates go. A more likely one would be the announcement of the album and a snippet of the first single, but I think everyone expecting the full single to come out, despite how much we love them, smacks of having your cake and eating it.
