Definitely too many effects in it. If it was as stripped and raw as the live versions, as a single it'd have gone Number 1 without too much effort, but as it is I don't think it would fare too well.

I went for the popup. It's not that I don't like the songs, I love them, it's just, there'll be a very limited amount of "new" on the album to surprise me and make the whole experience worthwile.

These last four posts have completely missed the point ^ What satisfaction do you get from those sort of comments? Obviously more than 90% of people on here have heard the songs because that's what fans do when there's new material about, they seek it out and listen to it as soon as possible. Stop being offensive dicks and grow up.

With M.M.I.X. and A Hopeful Transmission being instrumentals, I'll add them to the list because they're not really "songs" of the album to look forward to, as they effectively act as interludes. So with 11 out of 14 songs covered, this leaves us with: U.F.O. Don't Let It Break Your Heart Up With The Birds Considering it's the month before release and anticipation is high, I can see no other result other than a lack of satisfaction when I'll have heard the album. There won't be enough new stuff to satisfy me. Yes the studio version is "different" from the live version, but they're the same song, and I've heard it multiple times from different shows and become accustomed to it. Once I finish listening to it I know I'll be like, "that's it?". Meh my two cents..

I agree with the other points, but not with this... Mylo Xyloto is going to be their theme for the next three or so years, if they don't put everything they can into it, it won't end well for the era. Hell I was pleased when I saw they continued with the costumes and imagery, but the creation of the music just seems so bland.

The more I'm seeing these interviews, the less hopeful I'm feeling... Nobody expected it to be VLV but compared to the creation it just seems so much more.... uninspired....
