  1. I now placed Billy with you East Coast guys. jeremyy is swopped with Twisted Mind because he's temporarily somewhere else (ironically in the country that Twisted Mind lives in, hahaha!). Scrappy will travel through Europe eastwards this way.
  2. You guys are right. I have so far grouped people together per continent, except that from MaxRide on it goes already to USA, because last scrapbooks never got there and these people always subscribed but never got it. MaxRide, Phantoneku and DiOli05 are all USA ánd MaxRide was also in for the Scapbook II. I see now that TimeWarp should be up there as well. Dee and Paradise117 ended up lower on the list because this is their first time participating and the Earopeans above them just got on the list earlier than them. I figured that at the time it would arrive again in the US/America, more people from there would be on the list. So the list's priority was so far people that were in the project before but did not get the scrapbook and after that I ordered them per continent and mostly in the order that each one joined. I can change the order if people prefer that - I can imagine because of the sending costs. Now you guys are discussing about who lives close to eachother in the US I think that's also a good idea to keep in mind for me! I might just add that the list is not yet the exact order of where the book (Scrappy :awesome:) goes to. Thus far I like the input! I must say that I am not so good with USA geography :shame: So what do you guys think, shall I place Billy and Dee up there with the first bunch of Americans as well? With Dee at the end because she's West Coast?
  3. Strange, I didn't see her post weird stuff. Too bad! (not about the banning, but about ^ not having his original partner to do the reviewing) btw, that Wild Beasts song, the review said A man with a deep voice is singing, something joined by a woman. That high voice is not a woman but the singer! He is known to sing really high ánd low, in this live clip of the song you can see/hear he sings it: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lXDwiWNy11E]Wild Beasts - Two Dancers II (live @ Paradiso) - YouTube[/ame] Pretty amazing, by the way.
  4. As Ed said, there's already a thread for this. Shall we merge the two? Vinyl Freaks and Geeks I think I have already >10 vinyls of the band Mew alone :uhoh:
  5. nattatouille will :) Whut Mark, that's not a three ear old drawing, your pages look niiice! I also like your personal touch to it :D I'll add them to the first page!
  6. :stunned: Oh, she's a female and from South Africa! I was very far off! I like what Cheese Nip 2 did with the tape! :D
  7. Mark, do you mean with Monday last Monday or next Monday? Olivia, any updates for us? Did you get it or not?
  8. No. Otherwise the person is not called an atheist
  9. Great!!!! So glad it somrhow got okay with the counting and to know that all our clicking was not in vain. Cool that Coldplay fans got to meet Coldplay and no contest whores :P (although I have no clue if the girl from the second contest was a Coldplay fan or not)
  10. No, it's not. We already tried to explain you before *sight* 'Hen' in english just means 'single-girl-party before the marriage'. It is not the same as the French expression. No matter how many links of those you are posting (so please don't do like last time). Maybe 'gold digger' is indeed another word for it. omg Dianne! :)
  11. Djibou, are you going to post tracklistings of reviewed tapes that are not published yet? I think I reviewed mine two months ago and I still didn't see a tracklisting of it. I am curious which songs they are :bomb: If you don't mind I can also post a summary of which tapes have been reviewed by who and links and tracklisting. Maybe it will encourage some people to do a review/tracklisting if they haven't done so yet.
  12. SO HOW WAS IT PEOPLE???
  13. Wyrd replied to ArnIe's topic in The Lounge
Maybe the people who posted above you?
  14. Fuck, I was just going to post that, hahahaha! But yeah, Car Kids was also the title I had in mind (though Mylo Xyloto would make more sense) Maybe they make it something like Mylo Xoloto and the Car Kids BTW I love the idea of a mini serie comic! WANT!
  15. According to Lory, yes. Hm, Diva might be a nice word for that? (but now I got to like that term of the hen of luxury so much)
  16. Don't worry Lory :nice: The "^ No, me!" was meant for the above post. I was joking along with the others saying that the song Green Eyes was written for me. Just because I have green eyes. The picture was only to accompany your remark about hen of luxury, because such a term does not exist. It still makes me laugh each time I stumble upon it :laugh3:
  17. Okay, so this is my review for the new mixtape that was send. Yes, the soundtrack of the Vienna trip is seems :D as I am in Vienna. 1. The start sounds like a heartbeat. Sinister. Then electronica comes in, but with an ambient/lounge feel to it. Distorted sounds like a Radiohead song, a funky bass, then drumming comes in louder and louder to make it all a bit more consistent. To give it a more consistent sound. The rest of the glitches/sounds now start to join the drum in magnitude as well. As much as a mess-up it sounds like when listening to it concentrated, it is so relaxed when I don’t pay too much attention to it. Later on the song gives in on loudness again and also the instruments let it flow out, like a battery bunny that slowly takes the last steps before the battery is completely empty. I like this song :} Great start of a mixtape! 2. Counting before the song kicks in. Hm, I recognize this song even before it starts :P This was actually one of the songs that the former made me think of. I love this one so much. Both sound like perfect starts of a mixtape. Having #1 as the introduction of this one ... daring, yet it works, perfectly. As this song is. The creepy bridge/ending is my favourite part of the song I think. So much atmosphere :} It grows into a need to escape, and then suddenly stops. 3. This song sounds older. A sing songwriter? It reminds me of Bob Dylan. The song doesn’t do much for me, sorry. 4. This song has more power. I like this kind of music :) Again lyrics of sea/ocean and animals. 5. Talking and then a guitar with a second one jumping in. Then it sounds like typical Britpop. Something like Kasabian. It’s okay, I would enjoy if it would come by on the radio, but I would not buy a CD of them. 6. This song sounds a bit older. Something like Joy Division, New Order, you get it. It has a nice rhythm and a dark tone. 7. Woah, it starts with something that sounds like an old movie score. Then a rap starts with a sample that repeats itself on and on. I try to focus on the lyrics but it sounds like ordinary rap. It doesn’t interest me. The sample starts to annoy me, too much of the same. No, I think this was my least favourite of the mixtape. 8. This time the lyrics repeat themselves and the music progresses, in contrast to the last song. No, the music repeats itself as well, but this time it works for me. The music is very nice, it even gives me a bit the feeling that I am in a church. Electronic song this time. Very chilling, this one will definitely make its way on my Mp3 when I know the artist. 9. A simple song, like a modern sing songwriter. The music sounds basic like a theme you’d get from a keyboard. The guy uses this template to tell his story. Suddenly it stops. Yet so gently that I hardly notice it continuing into the next song. 10. Long intro. It nearly takes one and a half minute for the song to progress. The main theme from the start continues, but now with other music added and distorted lyrics like in Charlie Brown. An electronic song again, ambient. The song sounds short, but I guess that’s because of the long intro. I don’t mind though. Nice song, it sounds cute partly due to the sped-up voice. 11. Another electronic song it seems. I like it when at 0:45 the gentle drum comes in. Drum or whatever it’s called. Then it continues like this. This could be background music. Like in a tv show or have a singer sing over it, but just like this it works fine as well. 12. More electronics. At 3:20 the song seems to stop and continue into another one. This sounds more like a mix of several songs than one, which might also be why this number is so long. But then the melody of the ‘first’ song comes in again. Relaxed ending of the mixtape. It is so different compared to the start of the mixtape. More harmonious and warm, which seems odd to me, because the songs seem to have the same genre, so to say. The sound of this one reminds me much of song #8. A long song, but never sounds like it is too long :) I like it that the mixtape came with a variety of genres. I think the mixtape maker has a special liking for electronical music? Overall I liked 1,2,4 and 8 the most. Quite surprised by it because usually I am more into your random Indie band and not too much electronics. The mixtaper managed to come up with electronical songs that are very much of my liking! Very strong start of the mixtape  I enjoyed this mixtape very much. PS. Is this made by Italian Plastic?

 Seems a contradiction I like Robyn. She sings in The Girl and The Robot from Röyksopp and when I went to see Röyksopp live I thought it was amazing that she suddenly popped up on stage to sing the song. Oh, and I thought her perfomance was good. I loved it.
  19. ^ No, me!
  20. I got one! :D
  21. Thanks Misty for finding that! So cute! And I totally love how Gwyneth reacts to it, fangirlish almost yep. SO CUTE.
  22. It didn't work :( I could log into the PCs simultaneously, but when I clicked on the link on another PC it gave me the same number of clicks! No idea how that click system works then
  23. The Bieber girl already won a contest by this radio station recently (yeah AS WELL) so I guess she can't join a contest for a while. I noticed that the counting is fucked up again. When I clicked the 700 so did Vannessa apparently, but I am sure it took me more than 15 minutes to click so wtf counting system! >:( I am thinking of turning on the computers here in the PC room (that's like 40 of them) and vote on each of them. But the IP's will give away that all those PCs are standing in the same place >.< - would that work? 1062
  24. ^ Shall I just place you on the list anyway? You can always decide to leave it there, later on.
  25. Nah, the demo of Dark Paradise has such a bland drum coming in.
