Don't say again that they won't be asked because they are not pop, because that's not what point Bawatecc was trying to make. On another note, how can you say U2 is not pop? Do you distinguish them from Coldplay solely for Coldplay playing at X-factor and U2 hasn’t (yet)? If not, what is it that makes Coldplay Pop and U2 not?

AdrianaM, Lory already claims to know who Guy is dating for a time. She has said that she has this girl from France as a friend on her facebook and this girl told her that she is dating him. So the question is whether this girl is telling Lory the truth, that’s all. You can draw your conclusion from there, non? Also, if guy and this girl are trying so hard to keep it private, then why are you posting this all the time on coldplaying.com, Lory? Don't you think they rather not see you doing that then? That girl who has that tumblr, isn't she the same one as who wonders around in this forum? I wouldn't think too much from it ;) But it can be that she saw him with her and that's why she posted it? No, I am also just experimenting with it and trying to find out what cool stuff you can do with it. I wish I could get different lines for different instruments or at least the vocals separate. I can't alter an instrument (eg. take away a beat or lower a voice) and leave the rest the same. Did they also give the songs in such a format? That makes it more workable?

Okay, long post. A) A robot is NOT a dead person, Lory. You must have been alive in order to be dead. Robots never lived, so they cannot be dead. Like rocks or the shoes you wear. They are not dead. You can only say some people resemble robots, because they seem to behave automatically. B) The word fanatic does NOT come from the two words ‘fan’ and ‘ill’. It’s the other way around; the word fan comes from ‘fanatic’ (or fancy some claim, but that also goes back to fanaticus, which is what fanatic also comes from) But I like to get deeper into what a fan or a groupie is and especially the difference between the two. This is what I think both mean: Groupie= admirer of a celebrity that follows him/her around to get in contact and to get intimacy with the person. Usually the groupie is not so much interested in the music or whatever made him/her famous, but rather is interested in the person for his/her personality and/or status. Also usually wants to have sex with the celebrity. Simplified: a groupie is someone who is more interested in sex/intimacy with the celeb than the music he makes. Fan= Someone who supports/ has a strong interest/is enthusiastic/ fanatic about a band or something like that (eg. actor). I agree that i[]fanatic/fan[/i] was/is used to talk about obsessed biased people, but it also used to refer positively to supporters/ enthusiastics. Now, when they want to use the word ‘fan’ in a bad way, then they usually say fangirl or fanboy. For example: A fan would rate Mylo Xyloto with a 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 maybe even 9, but a fanboy/girl would give it a 10 and claim on youtube that if you don’t like the new direction of Coldplay 100% you are not worthy calling yourself a Coldplay FAN. When Coldplay will record a bunch of farts and sell it as LP6, then fanboys/-girls will rate this a 10 too. Usually they are under 16 and have not yet developed their brains fully so we can’t really blame them. Groupies are a bit different as they probably don’t even give a sh*t about the music, but blindly follow the celeb anyway and they desire sexual intimacy with the celeb. So simplified: a fan is someone who supports a band. A fanboy/fangirl is someone who blindly supports a band. A groupie is not even interested in their music, but just wants to fuck a celeb. No Kings of Leon, please no. They were influenced by many, but did they influence any good acts? Maybe I just don't know and they did, but they don't sound like a band that should be in that list. Now a-ha might seem to many as a silly boy band/ pop band, but they have influenced significant bands including our beloved Coldplay. And I think their work has been consistently good. I rather see them in the list than KoL. Just my two cents :}

I felt the same about this year. Many albums I have been waiting for and I had my hopes up but most were meh. None of the albums really stood out. I can only think of a Florence and The Machine and Jonas Bjerre that have pleasantly suprised me. I can make a bigger list of albums that I found dissapointing and didn't make the list at all. Maybe I should mention the worst albums overall or just because I expected them to be better. I left Apparatjik off after all, Paula :D I think it will be nicer to put it in next year, al though I hope it will end up lower then, due to above reason. I hope there will be better albums in the next year than Apparatjik's :\
