I can't even imagine how her family must be feeling right now. Such a kind, sweet, smart girl taken much too soon. She had so much potential, and it was all taken away by what was supposed to be a trip to the lake. I'm just heartbroken.

Did anyone else not get anything on BBC? I know I didn't catch the whole thing, but they were playing country music when I tried to listen. :blank:

Ugghhh I missed it! I had to pack all day anyway, but the BBC link didn't work for me. And Canada didn't have a station showing it on tv. :disappointed: Ah well, I suppose I'll have to wait for the youtube vids.

I adore this song. 9/10. Reminds me of both AROBTTH and X&Y.

Ok this song is gorgeous. I love how deep Chris' voice is at first, and then he moves into a higher register once the full instrumentals come in. It really shows off his range. And JONNY. Don't even get me started! He's just sounding better and better with every new song we get. I really love the lyrics too; they're really simple and lovely. To me this song sounds like the AROBTTH era mixed with X&Y, but also with enough "new" sounds to make it fit with the rest of their LP5 era songs. I can definitely see this one moving up into my most-listened-to Coldplay songs. Just lovely.

I don't mind that there is no obvious chorus. It makes it interesting.

Listening for the first time right now. I love it so far. I just got to the 1:30 part where it kicks it up a notch.

I'm slightly disappointed with the distorted vocals because I prefer Chris' voice in its natural state, if you will, but Jonny is really what makes this song anyway. He's sounded fantastic in every new song we've heard, I can't wait to hear everything else.

I hope it's a slow song. :wacky: I really like the lyrics. To me they sound like something we would have seen back in the X&Y era.

I like the live version better because there isn't any distortion of the vocals, but I really do like the song itself. I've already listened to the live version a bunch of times, so I think I am more excited to hear Moving to Mars tomorrow since I haven't heard it yet!!

I like both, but there's something special about the live version that makes me like it better.

I've grown apart from all of my friends. Honestly I don't think I have any true friends left who are actually the type of people I want to be around.

I know that it may be petty and selfish to feel this way, but my feelings are really hurt. :cry:

That most of my friends are extremely self-centered and thoughtless. And that I've grown apart from every one of them.

My friend made me go see Green Lantern with her. Not really my thing, so 5/10.

I was actually thinking about that earlier though...Winnipeg got pretty rowdy when it was announced that they'd get a team...I can only imagine all these crazy Jets fans going beserk when they lose!! I never know what to get my dad either. He doesn't like electronics, he hardly ever watches movies or listens to music (and when he does, it's all old stuff that he already owns), he reads a lot but only kids stuff because he's a teacher librarian at an elementary school, he won't wear new clothes if you buy it for him, he won't wear a watch or anything (he refuses to even wear his wedding ring :rolleyes:), and he doesn't drink. Everything he actually would like/use is waaaay expensive. Like I can't afford a bike (plus he just bought another one). AAHHHHH.

Maybe it's like a Harry/Dumbledore romance? Potter + Dumbledore = Pottermore? :lol:

I went out for dinner on Friday with friends because Thursday was my birthday. And then I worked on Saturday. I don't really have any plans for this weekend yet.

I was accepted to the school I want to transfer to, and I picked my residence room today!
