So in the last few days I finished rereading Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets. 2 down, 5 to go until I'm ready for the movie! (Though I reread the 6th and 7th in November right before DH Part 1, so I haven't decided if I will read them again too.)

Last year in Western Civ we had to write an essay linking song lyrics to different events throughout the history of western civilizations. I chose Violet Hill and linked it to Robespierre's reign of terror, Stalin's dictatorship, and a couple other things that I already forget. So if you are including past events in whatever this is for, Violet Hill is a really good song to use. I was the first person in the history of that course to ace the essay! :)

Dammit, I just checked the cineplex website and searched the movie. The title came up, but when I clicked it the 'Page could not be found'. Before it took me to the page where I could get info and buy tickets for it. So it must be gone. Sigh.

Is it showing anywhere anymore? I'm going to check my listings...I was going to see it in the city nearest me, but if it is being cancelled in so many places I have a feeling it won't be showing anymore....
