  1. ouch! i was kicking a football around with some guy who was rubbish and couldn't pass five yards and he kicked it past me. i turned round to run to get it and ran straight into a climbing frame haha. my sister was screaming for ages. they had to glue it back together at the hospital. they always use techniques you'd use to repair a paper aeroplane with me. when i split my head open (playing gladiators with my dad and sister :dozey:) they stapled my head back together, which hurt more than the splitting open. so i probably have a scar on my head too though i've never seen it and there's no place where my hair doesn't grow.
  2. *high five* how did you get yours? (sorry if you've said elsewhere in the thread but i haven't read any of it, just made my post)
  3. i split my lip open about ten years ago so i have a scar on my lip, but it's only small.
  4. Well it's the biggest amazingness to awfulness swing i've witnessed in a band in my lifetime
  5. ha, i look like a sex offender on my passport photo since i had to move my hair out of my eyes AND eyebrows so my hair had to move into a kind of side parting
  6. i do that sometimes. i also constantly say people look like a cross between someone and someone else. most of the time only my dad knows of the two people so it's a little pointless but oh well. good night everybody. hope you are all happy
  7. i like when bands reinvent themselves and try new things but there are ways of doing it. watering yourself down and overproducing yourself isn't what i call exploring new territory though. it's hardly radiohead moving to kid a, the beatles hitting drugs or dylan going electric.
  8. my advice would be that you download 'white session'. it's a live performance on a radio show and isn't available to buy so it aint bad to get it free. it's beautiful. basically a collection of songs from the first album performed live for a french radio show (i think it's pretty big since i have arcade fire with a 'white session' too and that sounds of similar production. it has an amazing version of candyland from the first album too. in the meantime there's clips like this [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VBhGC5jpuXo]YouTube- cocorosie - by your side (live)[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ANDfMGdHgs&feature=related]YouTube- CocoRosie - Hairnet Paradise[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-T96lTEJos&feature=related]YouTube- Turn me on - CocoRosie[/ame]
  9. i hope they make a good album this time round rather than just good singles
  10. i've accepted that my laptop is old. i have tried to break it several times for insurance purposes but it is so old it is almost impossible to damage (it's the same with old mobile phones - old technology can really take a beating). it's indestructibility has earned it my respect. i have this song in my head [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBu9P8XlGM8]YouTube- Eels - Living Life (Daniel Dale Johnston)[/ame] it's a daniel johnston cover
  11. anyone wants to add me this is my facebook no mark ronson fans though http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/markronsoncontributesnothingtomusic
  12. there are weirdo's out there though. banning facebook friends seems a bit excessive, banning meeting without the parents presence would be more suitable (though a little embarrassing).
  13. i don't have a facebook wall because there are too many stalkers
  14. i like that there is a horse called radiohead
  15. i think i want to be ricky gervais
  16. awww man i wish they were still good
  17. i've seen many many bands live such as radiohead, arcade fire and sigur ros but cocorosie was the best gig i've been to by a long time. it was perfect and beautiful. on a par if not better than what i imagine it would have been like to see bjork live at the royal opera house. here is lemonade for those who haven't heard it. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uI6OpetGxc]YouTube- CocoRosie - Lemonade (not the video)[/ame]
  18. oh, that's a shame. could they really not manage without my amazing presence? someone should tell them i'm back and that everything is gonna be ok
  19. yeah, lemonade is my fave from the new album too. best one they played live too
  20. wow been in bed for days and days feeling like i'm dying. delirious and hallucinating  i think it has passed. fingers crossed! what did i miss?
  21. why do i feel the same today as i did yesterday when i felt almost better last night? so frustrating :(
