  1. i don't know how to go about my mixtape. whether to make it into a playlist that fits and works well, but possibly not including genres that the listener may have preferred or that they have yet to hear, or making a playlist that doesn't structurally work all that well but covers enough bases to ensure there will be at least a few things that the listener will like hmmm
  2. denmark have it worse. brian jensen is danish. fortunately he's always been their their number 4 or 5 choice so never made it but he thought he might get called up last year. the worst goalkeeper of all time.
  3. think i'm off too. hope you are all well and have a good rest of the day
  4. one day i hope to reach 680 posts
  5. oh, one thing. how do you work the stick option?
  6. i just spotted it the other minute but cheers for the headsup!
  7. hey guys, i'd like very much if you'd listen to my album/demo. the album is in my sig there are ten tracks but they haven't been named yet. here is the tracklisting but some of the names aren't anything and are just what was written down at the time and will be changed. 1. Messenger 2. Straw Of The Dene 3. From The Dark 2 4. Keep It Clean 5. Tiny 6. (Ok) I'll Stop Messing Around 7. Snower 8. Genie (Feral Child) 9. Mega Kill Death 10. Haymarket it's a collaborative effort between me and my mate. influenced by radiohead and nick drake it's mainly acoustic. there is the odd mistake left in and we would like to develop it further but don't haven't had the time to add more instruments yet but the main structure of all the songs is there so you can see what they are about. hopefully we will have time this summer as a local label which has just been set up are interested in getting us in a studio to do a few things so that could be cool. we also sent a few of the songs to martin grech's producer (if you don't know that guy he's the one who wrote open heart zoo and it's a really good song and is up on youtube) and he said he enjoyed it and to send more. he described it as dreamy and naive, in a good way. i personally think it's better listened to in order of the tracklisting but i'm not sure in what order it will download so you may have to arrange that yourself. if you don't want to commit to downloading ten tracks check out our myspace page to get a glimpse of what we are like, starting with messenger - http://www.myspace.com/mrwrennmusic any feedback would be much appreciated and criticism, even if it isn't constructive criticism, is welcome.
  8. hey david, you seem to be in the know. is there a specific thread in the music section for posting your own stuff?
  9. you only have to sign up by the third. you then have a week to sort out the playlist itself. join!
  10. is this it was the first album i ever connected with and it was cool as fuck. room on fire was a good follow up, a few tracks let it down but some nifty bits in there and it was different from the first and not too poppy. third album had three good songs which are easily milked. i just can't see them getting back to anything like 'hard to explain'. especially after hearing the travesty which was julians solo album. i'll definitely be listening though. they haven't tipped as far away as kings of leon.
  11. moi? i prefer to call it my ghetto booty
  12. well you'll notice if i do because it will be completely out of character and i'll purposely go over the top with it so people realise i'm joking.
  13. i put a link to my demos in my sig guys. if any of you wanna download it that'd be cool. it's rough recordings but i think it's pretty decent. me and my mate. influenced by radiohead and nick drake and the majority is acoustic. but er yeah, just sayin'.
  14. well it's nice to meet you emily. doesn't seem to be too many english people on here, you north or south? the only thing you really need to know about me is that if i say something slightly offensive (nothing too bad of course) and incredibly direct i'm joking. some people on here miss it since it's over the internet.
  15. hello dargarius! i don't believe i know your name but i remember agreeing with your posts in the music threads
  16. i've seen you before. you were posting in the count down from a million thread and every time i posted you had made about three posts so i was always behind hello, i'm greg
  17. oh yeah, how could i forget. me and my mates all scarred each other with cigarettes on our hands when we were drunk because tattoos are lame and cliched. when we sobered up we realised scars were lame too, but i don't regret doing it. it's quite a cool scar and we all have it.
  18. we all share those scars ear rape scars inside and out
