Who has been the greatest live act ever?
The random old men I saw last night in a working mans club. Some people were having jazz jam and an old guy got up with a saxophone. Was amazing.

Much more coherent than I managed. Great reply.

The Official Club Football 2014-2015 thread
Wigan are the only team I want to stay up. I think plenty of northern fans feel the same way, as well as quite a few others. Established small club in the Premier League who I love pulling something out the bag. Brought some gems to the league too who have moved on to bigger things. Not too big for their boots either. If you look at teams who are going up, you wouldn't want them replacing Wigan.

Your Music-List of all Coldplaying members w/ music (post links to your music)
Sorry to spam this page but we did another jam today. Much more chilled out. Hoping for a Tame Impala meets Boards of Canada meets New Order sound. https://soundcloud.com/solar-ropes/drauner-soundtrack EDIT: Thread killah! ha. We also found a new name for our band: Glower (as in rhymes with slower, not flower)

Had i not done so already, I'd have voted for you, in thanks to your thanks.

Life of Pi
I thought it was crap. The only good bit was the end and it wasn't good enough to warrant sitting through all the rest of it. I imagine the book will be better as it can concentrate on things aside from the visuals.

Everything's boring
Your problem is on your emphasis on being different, whilst also being the same - you want something completely new, within which to start a new scene and all the lameness that comes with that. You should be more welcoming to things from the past, but concentrate on other aspects than the fashion for a start. Also, broaden your music listening. There's a load of stuff out there. So many genres you will not have come across yet. Just because they have already taken place it does not mean that they are without merit. And if they have been recycled then they may well have been recycled in a way more consistent with the environment of these times. Look into things deeper, the meaning, the etymology, the motivations. Search deeper than simply the popular stuff. Check out the ideas buzzing around. Decide if you agree with them. Understand why other people did feel that way if you don't agree with them. Generate a context for as much as you can before writing it off. Look into other arts. Once you are working on a level higher than 'that sounds nice, that looks nice' and looking at art as a product of the times and a social expression then you will find it far more fruitful and less throwaway. Combine the arts with philosophy and ideas, embrace the literature, basically research the fuck out of something that appeals to you and actually understand it. If you are looking at things in this more detailed way then there is so much stuff out there to interest you, and it stretches so far back in time. From the ancient times to the modern day. Just don't restrict yourself to fashion and contemporary pop music, because that would be a tragedy. You'll find you have more in common with those from the past than you realised, in many respects. The urge to look different won't impact you as much, more the urge to think and act differently will. And you'll find things you want to change in society for the best when you have the context of where we have come from and the depressing vices that motivate most people. Then that will become a far more important focus than fashion and pop music.

Atoms For Peace (Thom Yorke+Flea+others)
Was depressing to see him do Karma Police on that show (like a minute and a half of it). Felt like such a contractual agreement. Like they wouldn't let him on unless he did that stuff.

Ways to reduce stress
For me it's either food or orgasms, but I wouldn't recommend either of these for dealing with it as it'll only ruin them. If it's getting bad then maybe you could ask a doctor. Alternatively music, as mentioned above, funny youtube videos or a conversation with somebody who is willing to listen and can break things down for you and put things into perspective.

They were agreeing the table was shit. It was amicable. Wasn't an argument.

The gap between the teeth
I have gaps around the side from where I had teeth removed to get a brace but then had the brace taken off me as I kept breaking it haha. You can't see it unless I open my mouth wide but the food getting stuck in it can be annoying/something to do when I'm bored.

The gap between the teeth
Depends on the person and ultimately doesn't matter anyway. You'll find most people who have any taste past some ridiculously mass produced image of an ideal opposite sex revel in the differences others have. It's the things I fall in love with.

Oh no, I didn't mean I didn't think it wasn't a Coldplayer. There was just a marked difference between the quality of that and the jam I put up haha.

We managed to have our first band practice with space and a full set of instruments incl. drums. Managed to get about 2-3 hours of messing about, all improvised (as usual). We got two bits that we are going to work on and get some structure with. Snooker [Latest - UK Championship, Barbican Centre, York 26 November to 8 December)
I think because I don't follow the sport religiously it means I can get a little bit of enjoyment from his supposed lack of interest in snooker. Watching now. Trump just got it back to 7-9 after a very interesting game at the end of the second session.

Fair enough. I shouldn't be so harsh given they've been trounced in the league this season.

I'm glad I'm not a girl
How else do you get things done than without a little 'moaning'? You've got to raise awareness and by talking about the problems it becomes easier to get things done without coming up against as much pressure. Also, this is an internet forum, a place for people to vent. This isn't a place where feminism is being defined and it isn't going to be printed off and given to all men. Please can we get one more reply (you don't have to post immediately) and let us know how the girls in this thread should behave. What would be 'doing something about it' and how could they avoid 'moaning'?

I'm glad I'm not a girl
Fair enough for you for replying in that manner. I think it's worth pointing out that the two people you've spoken to in this thread so far (who have responded to you directly) have been male, so I'm not sure it's a case of just attacking guys. But I'd agree with your statement that you're being told that your views are misguided because you are a male. Not because you can never understand, that you don't understand to any extent, or out of hatred for males (as I said, me and Reilly are male), but because what you are saying appears to be the product of taking things on board almost completely from a male perspective. And it's taking this stance from the start when so many other things are being discussed in the thread which is a little strange to understand.
