Yay! Thanks for all the support. :) It would probably take me three months just to learn "Frommer's French" (their little primer on the basics). I was around French-speaking people in Bora Bora years ago and really had no idea what anyone was saying... Did I mention I'm really bad with directions too? :laugh3: So excited though! I planned my whole London-Paris trip around this concert, when it was thought it would be the 13th, so I'm glad that was pretty accurate, as I already have my flights booked. ;) Jason

This is one of their consignor auctions, so it is likely that someone purchased it, then consigned it for sale to this auction event... It would be like if you bought the globe, then decided to sell it, and consigned it to an auction event. Of course, with that example, that would have to be in some alternate universe, and the consignor would be Bizarro-Carrie. :laugh3: Jason

My favorite thread has been long neglected... Thought I would let you know that Julien's Auctions will be offering the Chris Martin jacket sold in the End of the Decade sale as part of their "Legends" auction in China next month (my little write up here). There wasn't a very clear photo of it in the original Coldplay catalog, so here you can get a better look at it. You can learn more at www.juliensauctions.com I know this is one of the pieces they've taken with them to China, and it's also on the back cover of the printed catalog. If anyone has an better images/video of Chris wearing this jacket, I would love to see them... Jason

I've had flights booked for a London-Paris trip for a little while, returning to the States December 12th... :\ I hope the Facebook page is reliable, as I just changed my flights after seeing the addition to their FB page this morning (now the 13th is in the middle of my trip! :D). Hoping that there is another show or shows like the hidden gigs in England last year as well... Jason

Here's another one of the videos I shot - this was the first performance of Cartoon Hearts (or as other people mysteriously refer to it, Charlie Brown ;))... Yeah, it's better on Kimmel, but this shows the full "behind the scenes" (in front of the scenes?) bit with Jimmy Kimmel which is pretty funny. You'll feel like you were there if you watch the opening of this bit. Hey, my pleasure - had such an awesome time! Great conversation and stories to share and with both of us being a bit low key yet having real love and passion for the band - couldn't have found a better person to hang with at the show. I've still got a lot of great pics to get to you - just trying to catch up on some things first. :lol: Also a big thank you to Dianne, who I considered our fearless leader for our CPing get-togethering - truly awesome person with a great, fun family. Hey Tracey, so awesome to meet you! I had a blast! Yeah, I had to get my VIP's worth via little plastic glasses of wine... :laugh3: Julie and I were in the VIP area "pre show party" trying to convert a couple into becoming more hardcore fans. It was actually all quite amusing. They were looking at us as though we were a bit loopy... :lol: Anyway, I'm sure we'll get to hang out again at some future show! We'll have to better coordinate next time so we can all get seating next to each other... It's funny all the comments about the crowd, because I only had the pit group in front of my so was, at least visually, kind of oblivious to it (apart from not "hearing" the kind of crowd noise I did at the last two shows I went to in England).
