Coldplay Symbols
Was the Moving to Mars symbol in the Coldplay fonts that were posted on the boards?

Sex and Violence/Car Kids
It's probably just cover of Bittersweet Symphony anyway haha But really, notice what Chris is singing around the 4:45 mark. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=tPGTdDohGl4#t=285s

COLDPLAY ARE RECORDING CAR KIDS?!!
I honestly don't think they mean Spanish Rain, I think they meant a song written for a specific tour, as Spanish Rain was. That said, it won't be a new Spanish Rain or the Dubliners, because unlike both of those two, R42 says the song will be recorded. Look at that, a post in a thread that's mentioned Car Kids, and yet this post didn't mention Car Kids, or typing in all caps telling people what to do! It can be done!

Guess the Charlie Brown Single Tracklisting
As well as actual b-sides "A Spell A Rebel Yell," "Death Will Never Conquer," & "The Goldrush."

The MX related t-shirts thread
Exact same way I feel, I wanted that Running Man shirt but it had stuff on the back too.

[24-Nov-2011] Little Noise Sessions St John-at-Hackney, London, UK [Chris and Jonny only]
If they were supposed to go on at 9:30 local time, it would be about 20 minutes in, and that's assuming they even went on stage on time.

Official Mylo Xyloto lyrics (from Coldplay.com)
Yeah I've thought that from the beginning too, and it fits the song perfectly. I know this makes no sense whatsoever but I would wager a significant amount of monopoly money on the idea that Chris actually says "Spray Tan Soul" the second time on the album version of HLH. Like some sort of inside joke.

One good thing, One bad thing about the album
You can express negative opinions anywhere, as long as there's no asshattery behind it.

One good thing, One bad thing about the album
I thought, if people still felt to express their views on the album that we could do it this way. When you post, post one thing that you like about the album, and one thing you don't like about the album. I thought this could be a fair way to do this. Also, explain yourself, don't just put UWTB is amazing, or Paradise is shit. Bad thing: Vocals. Some places its great, some places they seem incomplete. The vocals for Charlie Brown seem to have something off about them. Also, in HLH, the way Chris says, "It's true, when you" towards the end of the song, it doesn't seem right. Good things: the Little things. Jonny's guitar riff right after Chris says "from my shipwreck I heard a call" on DLIBYH. The hint of "The Dubliners" at the second part of UWTB. The backing vocals on Charlie Brown, right before the "so we soar" (or whatever he says) part. The piano you can barely hear in HLH (during the song, not the outro). So, what are your good and bad things about the album?

Guess the song!
For You How soon is now, and yeah how long is never

Studiofeed !
I can hear the Jonny's part on UATW, but it sounds like a banjo or something, that's after halfway in the video. Also I swear I can hear less than a second of DLIBYH in the last five seconds or so.

the "WE WANT MORE ROCK COLDPLAY" thread
No offense to Jonny, but I want to see Chris play an electric guitar, maybe even lead guitar, whether it live on in studio. I've always wanted to actually here how good he still is.

Anyone not listening to the album.
Just got word from Amazon that MX is about 2 hours away from me (in Louisville, Kentucky). I have to work from 10-2 tomorrow morning, so hopefully it will be at my house when I get home (I live 3 minutes away from work, so that's good). Of all the stuff that I've pre-ordered from Amazon, the earliest anything's arrived was 12:30 PM, and the latest was 4:30 PM I'm hoping for something closer to the middle at least. It honestly feels like Christmas Eve right now.

Large picture of the Graffiti Wall?
hahaha. Oh my, this thread took a very weird, dramatic turn. To make matters worse, I'm going to respond with this: The size will actually determine how I use it. That is all. (but really, does anyone have a large file?)

Large picture of the Graffiti Wall?
Does anybody have a large file of the Graffiti Wall? I mean like really, really big. Or does anyone know where I can find one? I googled it and there's a somewhat large picture of it, but I'd like it to be bigger.

Acoustic versions of songs
How many official acoustic versions did we get with Viva? I remember Lost? and Lovers In Japan. I know Chris played Viva La Vida at the apple thing on just piano, and LiT II on some French (?) show on just the piano. They also did Strawberry Swing during their I heart Radio gig (the stripped down one).

Paradise *OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO!* (Youtube Video In First Post, plus 1-10 elephant poll))
I love how Chris takes the head off when he's riding the unicycle, and how Jonny's elephant is wearing a hat, brilliant.

Converts from the MX Era
I'd say Viva was my hook. I heard Violet Hill on the way to somewhere for school, and I instantly loved it. I watched the music video for days on end on YouTube. I had heard of Coldplay before that, but only a few songs: Don't Panic, Politik, Clocks, the Scientist, Yellow, and Speed Of Sound. My brother made me learn Clocks on the piano when I was 14, took me 15 minutes of listening nonstop to finally get it down. The funny thing is I use to loathe seeing the 'Yellow' music video on tv as a kid.

US/Canda Store Preorder (from coldplay.com)
As someone who isn't listening to the leak, the physical cd is kinda important. But the US release day is October 25th, should I be expecting the cd Monday (24th) or Tuesday (25th)?

Whatever happened to these?
Yeah, it's gotta be Golden Arrow. I don't know if its written on the graffiti wall (or published in that database), but during the CBS Sunday Morning Segment, Golden Arrow was 'graffiti-ed' on the wall going up the stairs in their studio, so its a real song. I guess we can "confirm" that Golden Arrow, Car Kids, and Tomorrow (Great Expectations too?) are songs. Are they b-sides though? With Viva, we had plenty of songs that were released that weren't on the album (though most were on the EP): Glass of Water, Rainy Day, Prospekt's March, Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground, The Goldrush, Postcards From Far Away, A Spell A Rebel Yell, and Death Will Never Conquer. That's 8 songs (not counting the alternate versions/lyrical versions of Album songs). We already have Moving To Mars. I'd say there's a good chance we get at least three other songs, giving us a good chance to hear those lyrics somewhere.

Anyone not listening to the album.
Yeah this is what I meant in my post. I was so hungry for new material, that I couldn't help it. But I still want the cd release to be somewhat meaningful.

Anyone not listening to the album.
Not listening until I have the physical album disc in my hand. And it will played on surround sound somewhere in my house, not on my laptop.

Anyone else NOT hearing the Song till MX comes out ?
I'm trying to do the same. Haven't head Up In Flames yet either. One week!
