Agreed. Amsterdam, Viva la Vida, Life In Technicolor, The Scientist, Don't Panic, Major Minus, etc. are brilliant song titles because we as the fans have to draw the parallel between the title and the lyrics without having it thrown at us in the lyrics as a gimme. It makes people think of the song in ways that they wouldn't otherwise. :nod:

To continue the X&Y debate: Awesome songs: Swallowed In The Sea, Fix You, Talk, A Message, Gravity (yes, it's a b-side but I honestly think it's one of Coldplay's best songs :wacky: and it should have been on the album) Songs that aren't too bad: Speed of Sound, White Shadows, Twisted Logic, Square One, 'Til Kingdom Come Songs that could have been left off: X&Y, What If, Low

^ Yeah, which is why I have a feeling that the instrumental portion of the song may be similar to Clocks (since that song is mainly bass-driven along with the piano). And 'hypnotic in its simplicity, but devastatingly, achingly gorgeous' would definitely describe Clocks also :wacky:
