Hey allemaal! Ik weet niet of jullie nog bekend zijn met de Nederlandstalige fanbase van Coldplay. Dit forum en website is wegens inactiviteit al een tijdje gesloten. We willen echter de Nederlandse fanbase weer bij elkaar krijgen! We zoeken daarom ook nog mensen met een hart voor Coldplay die zin/tijd hebben om ons online weer naar boven te helpen! The e-mail may be fake, but this doesn't change anything with Live On Demand does it? The crowdfunding event has nothing to do with this mail. Even though the real Dave Holmes now has said it is very unlikely that Chris would do anything like this, the possibility is still there (albeit a tiny one).

We don't hate you Gerben, definitely not! It was a really really great initiative and we all knew the risks when we bought these tickets didn't we? ;)

Omg this song is actually quite good :O :D It also sounds a bit like a mix of Gravity and Me and Tennessee.

I'm not sure yet which one I prefer. They're both amazing in their own way :) I have the feeling this album is a bit more electronic and colorfull whereas In A Perfect World was more acoustic and stripped down. Where will you be seeing them? I'm seeing them in Antwerp on the 6th of March :D

Does ''Coming Alive'' remind anyone of Hurts Like Heaven? :D I think the Coldplay influence on this album is even more than before, I love it!

Haven't logged in here for a while but felt the need to express my thoughts on this amazing new song:) I absolutely loved what they did with this one. The piano/acoustic guitar intro isn't anything they've done before, then that massive drum beat reminds us of their (probable) new path (From MX to GS) but as soon as the real drums kick in that's when the song comes complete for me. The ooh--ooh's (which remind me of a Maroon 5 song here...) and yeah yeah yeah's have become the standard for Coldplay song's which to be honest always works well on their songs! (And you got to admit it's always been there, everything's not lost, in my place, the scientist, viva la vida and so on...). The bass line works very well too! In the middle, if you listen carefully you can hear this great background line which I think sounds like something they would have done during X&Y or VLVODAAHF. Jonny is present at all times, with a lot of different variations (not as repetitive as Magic or ASFOS). The end bit is the best part I think, the drums are absolutely amazing (maybe the best Will has done since GOW) and the whole part actually reminds me of an Imagine Dragons song, which, I think is a really good thing! The song gives you a feeling of happiness, euphoria and beauty, if this is going to be the way for AHFOD I will be very pleased! As long as their songs consist of piano-guitar-drums and bass (not a huge load of synths) and they can really reproduce this live! I think we're going to get a real treat for LP7!

It's a beautiful song but I really miss Chris in this one. If Chris sang more, I think I would be addicted and a lot of Coldplayers with me, It's a mix of Up With The Birds and O (Fly On). But I'm not really loving it. Sorry Cat Power. (Although the piano and all the background noises are definitely Coldplay) Edit: It also sounds a bit christmas-y lol xD

I like the extra guitar parts, and the more heavy EDM but I understand why they didn't use this one for the album. It doesn't feel as cohesive as the album version. But it's nice :)

That was so funny! The part when Will started to sing, someone in the audience made a very loud funny and strange burb sound. You could hear it so loudly so Chris paused and started talking about that and about the audience having to make these weird animal noises. I really had this ROFL moment :laugh3:
