I'm going for a 9.9 out of 10. The bass in up in flames is a bit too loud in comparison to the mood of the song!

Your in for a real treat! I believe it is easily their best album yet!! Dont let this review spoil the album for you. :)

^ definitely! Its pathetic and I dont know how anyone can be so scathing in the influential position they are in. They have a responsibility to their readers (if they have any!!) to be fair and democratic and produce an honest review that is both fair and truthful!! I know everyone has the right to an opinion but in a situation like this it comes down to the simple fact of respect and fairness for the artist. The boys have spent three years on this and there hard work is reflected in the quality of the album. It might not be their taste in music but there is most certainly no need to come up absurd, untrue comments!

I'm sorry guys, but imo this review is a piece of shit!!! They cant get past the fact that IF A BAND KEEPS MAKING THE SAME KIND OF MUSIC, PEOPLE WILL GET BORED AND THE MORE SONGS THEY WRITE THAT SOUND THE SAME THE HARDER IT WILL BECOME TO WRITE THEM!!!!!! No-one should be criticised for wanting to reinvent themselves after every album, it keeps things fresh. Also, I think out of all their albums this is the one with the MOST soul. Look at songs like UWTB, UATW, UFO, UIF! It just feels like this reviewer guy is jumping on the Coldplay hate bandwagon when most people have got over themselves and jumped off of it!!!

Its the names of their wives and children! I cant wait to get this cd! I am particularly surprised about the art on the CD, it seems... Unexpected!

I think it is us doubting ourselves. I think that they are all the same thing and there aren't any zny differences!

The only bit i'm not too keen on is the bass in up in flames. The rest I love: hurts like heaven, major minus and charlie brown!

With an ending like Up With The Birds it has to be happy! I know UWTB is supposed to be the happy ending but it just makes me so sad, its very atmospheric!!! Way better than MTM!! :D

I would go with the second but it wouldnt be the same without the first half! It is a truly amazing song and if it wasnt for Charlie Brown it would be easily the best track on the album!!! I'm listening to it now: the birds they sang...

But when the guitar kicks in it drowns out the bass a bit which is good ;)

This is the most perfect song on the album. Although, I think they got all songs right in terms of production apart from Up In Flames. I still cant get into the bass, it should just be the tick-tock drums from ACL; the song is too quiet and calm. It sounds a bit like it can't decide whether it wants to be a festival classic like Fix You and The Scientist or a disco/nightclub dance tune!!

If it is an intro to Princess Of China then why isnt it at the start of track 10 as opposed to at the end of track 9?

They might not bother with b-sides and physical CD single releases and just go for a EP if they think they have enough left over!!

Great song and yeah not many people outside of this site will bother with it. Its all about singles nowadays, sadly, and most of them are crap and the good songs just get ignored if they arent singles or if they dont have a radio-friendly sounds!

It would be a good name for a tour!
