This song made me nervous. ETIAW came out and I loved it. But this? This scared me into thinking that their entire album was going to be like this. Based on catchy choruses and synth. BUT, I was wrong because Hurts Like Heaven is nothing like that, and I expect that some of them will be wonderful as well. This song just isn't their best work. I mean, I don't absolutely HATE IT, but you know... it's not great.

Favorite U2 song? Hmmm... Well I have Achtung Baby and The Joshua Tree, and I have heard some stuff from earlier/later albums... I really like Pride, and Where The Streets Have No Name, and Until The End of The World. As well as Vertigo. I'm sorry but I have to. :D

Mmmmm..... I gave it another couple listens and have decided that I am getting a sort of Viva La Vida feeling with this. Although Viva La Vida is the very root of my Coldplay obsession, and I absolutely loved it the moment I heard it, I'm getting the same feeling with HLH. I think I was just mad because I was used to hearing the rawness of the live version and not hearing all of the background voices. 1:15 on is when I got it... ARRGG the second verse is my absolute FAVORITE! Now, I think this is my favorite song. I applaud you, boys :D
