I love Midnight because I've always felt they needed a more atmospheric song with a good soundscape. I know they've already had The Escapist, but I've always seen it more as an outro than a full length song

Really digging it. I'm particulary keen on the chilled-out mood and production. Like I've said in the other thread, the vocals sounds like something that could fit in Daft Punk's latest album.

Am I the only one who hears RAM era Daft Punk influences on Magic?

I just love when they come up with these weird titles and make everyone go "WTF?"

Well, that's quite a limited point of view then. I don't like an artist/band because, for example, they make guitar-based or electronic music, but because I can feel some kind of emotion when listening to their work or I'm just intrigued by the music-writing abilities. Take, for example, Moby, who's been constantly switching between electronic and instrumental stuff: both sides of his work are just, in my opinion, amazing, even though the instrumentation/structure may be radically different.

All these "WHERE DA GUITAR AND PIANO?" kind of comments are getting annoying now. How the hell does the lack of a certain instrumentation make a song bad?

I wish we had all those little clues we had in the last era and all those weird (and quite fucked up :p) "cospiracy theories" threads. I'm kind of missing spending time trying to figure out song titles/lyrics hidden in pictures, website updates etc.

Even though I haven't been postin on here that much recently, finding out two weeks ago that the forum was closed really saddened me. Feels good to be back! :)
