They're just holding back so the new album isn't spoiled. The release date would be kind of anti-climactic if everyone already knew all the songs on the album. They saw how the videos went viral and knew anything they played at any venue was going to be out there in a big way.

Agreed, that is a phenominal cover. I have huge hopes for the studio version of this, don't let me down Coldplay.

I really like the lyrics, they make the song for me. All about getting lost in the music and how it connets with you. My second favorite of the new stuff so far only behind Charlie Brown (which I think trumps everything from LP4 except Viva La Vida and might be a top 5 Coldplay song for me depending on how the studio version turns out) Of the new stuff: Charlie Brown ETIAW Hurts Like Heaven Moving to Mars Us Against the World Major Minus Haven't heard Princess of China yet, I want to wait until I can get some solid audio quality.

I think there will be at least a couple more tracks and hopefully they stop combining two songs into one track. Reign of Love deserved it's own spot.

Mylo Xyloto could be a whole song based off the clip we hear of MX before Hurts like Heaven I'm pretty sure I read that they have something like 50 songs that are in some form of development so most of this album could be songs they haven't even hinted at yet. As long as it includes Charlie Brown and Hurts Like Heaven i'll be a happy camper.

I think LP5 is largely going to be positive and upbeat, which will piss off the older coldplay fans something fierce as they want more songs about getting kicked in the nuts or trying to overcome getting kicked in the nuts. Don't get me wrong, I like all the old albums too, but i'm fine with them evolving and trying new things. I'd rather they do this than be one of those bands that has one sound and repeat it album in and album out to the point where they all sound the same.

No Charlie Brown = FAIL I'm actually getting the feeling that this is going to be a 14-16 track album. If you break up VLVODAAHF it should have been 13 Life in Technicolor Cemeteries of London Lost! 42 Lovers in Japan Reign of Love Yes Sleep Viva La Vida Violet Hill Srawberry Swing Death and All His Friends The End Not to mention LiT II and Glass of Water should have made VLVODAAHF, which would have made it 15, and they have been even more prodigiuos writing songs this time around.

I don't get some of the hate for ETIAW. I'm actually a big fan of the lyrics. I think it could have used another verse and less free flow at the end. startedout as a 9, fell to about a 7/7.5, but now i'd say it's back up to a 9. I would prefer ETIAW, MM and MTM all be left off the album. Just leave them as a stand alone EP. The only ones I really want on LP5 is MX/HLH and Charlie Brown, especially Charlie Brown.
