I'm guessing everyone knew, especially EMI, that a single like that at the beginning of summer would mean straight cash. Although I used to think that they wanted to know how people would react to it, I now think that's rather a naive assumption, dunno.

Possibly something they do at every stop. Nothing special. Radio interviews and stuff.

Yeah, it's boring having nothing to do. I wish I had some re-examinations. No really, I don't. I've been on this forum during the exam period (June) more times than I do now so work probably has nothing to do with my activity here. And I think people who dislike things, in general, are more eager to vent their opinions than people who like something. In fact I'm sure of that.

Is that a new neighbourhood? Because over here all the streets have boring names, like "Stationsstraat", even the village where I live has five "Stationsstraten" and we don't have a station.

No, because when they say it is your lettuce, you don't eat or taste it. By contrast, music is something you listen to and we've already listened to more than half of the album, if it is true of course.

X&Y happened to be kind of a disappointment for a lot of people after the great AROBTTH. I personally think it is their least good album, but there are great songs on it, e.g. A Message, Til Kingdom Come, Swallowed In The Sea, and yes, Twisted Logic. :wacko:
