'Up In Flames' - A Last Minute Idea
Are you saying you don't know about the most important rule? :inquisitive: You'd better start to speculate soon if you don't want to get banned. Anyway, I can't say too much about just a title, but I really like the idea of last minute songs. Thinking about Clocks and (apparently, didn't know that) A Message. Two of my favourite songs. However, ETIAW was also a late idea. Fingers crossed. But I have a good feeling about this one.

Guy confirms album out end of October (Triple J interview - transcript & MM links in first post)
Yay new stuff! Hope Major Minus will be in a new arrangement, more like the live version, with echoes and stuff. But that's just my humble opinion. I'm believing the EMI money-grabbing theory by the way. And Life Is For Living, yeah, that's an exciting new track! :rolleyes4: Love the interview with Guy, really funny, also those Australians. And really, the minutes after the interview are really funny as well. Okay, I already accepted late October release. I can wait. And please, stop speculating about the tracklisting. The guys don't know either. They've got 16 possible songs. We'll find out soon enough.

Life is for living... or not?
I know it sounds cheesy, but I always try to do what is best for everyone, without ignoring my own needs of course. Taking criticism into account is important, but you shouldn't let others completely guide your life. The truth is always somewhere in the middle. Try to do what you think is best, without going all "I do what I want cos this is my life and you ain't tellin me what to do" and that shit. If you know what I'm saying.

Same Date of Birth as one of the Boys
I share the 12 in Guy's birthday, only the month isn't right at all. Does that count? :wink3:

Favorite Coldplay Era?
A Rush of Blood to the Head era. I started to know Coldplay in 2003 thanks to my parents' AROBTTH CD, which my mum had stuck on repeat and is still my all-time favourite ever of all time ever. I also think their concerts were the absolute best in that era (retrospectively, wish I was there). During the X&Y era, my enthusiasm got even bigger. But now I realise that it was the era where Chris started to be a bit too Bono-wannabe, running around the stage with no instrument while trying to sing. The latter peaked during Viva. However, Viva was a great album, and Chris was really virtuous with his piano during shows. But I didn't like the fact that the overall big show element (it did blow me away) became more important than the quality of the music. Fortunately music quality and show are now equal in the current tour. Wish I was there during the Parachutes or even pre-Parachutes era. I can imagine being a student at their university and being a fan when they were still unknown to most of the world.

[31-July-2011] Coldplay @ Splendour In The Grass festival, Australia
Don't worry too much. Most people enjoyed the show, but didn't comment. Because those commenters seem to come right from the rectum of the internet.

[31-July-2011] Coldplay @ Splendour In The Grass festival, Australia
I'd like to add that I like Everything's Not Lost and Shiver back again. They always seem to switch Shiver around with Cemeteries Of London, another song I love, but not as much. ^Yeah, the filming was pretty bad imo. Always those close-ups. Kaiser Chiefs were shot way better.

[31-July-2011] Coldplay @ Splendour In The Grass festival, Australia
It's always like that. During Kaiser Chiefs they were like "Is this a new Cold play song???" :laugh3: And then they say Coldplay sucks and all that. Nothing new, I've seen a lot of those live-stream chats.

[31-July-2011] Coldplay @ Splendour In The Grass festival, Australia
Saw the show from start to mid-Scientist, then from mid-Clocks till the end. Nice to see an Amy tribute. How was the Will birthday tribute? I missed that. For the rest, seemed to me like business as usual, having seen so many shows of this Tour (via stream or delayed most of the time). They were sharp, doing what they can, but not the best show ever of course.

chocolate or coldplay??
You can't eat too much chocolate. It could make you sick, short term, or fat, long term. However, I can keep listening to Coldplay for hours and hours on end without getting bored (it will eventually leave me in a sort of depressed/melancholic state). But There are a lot of other great bands out there. There are other sweets out there, but especially in this small part of the world, chocolate can't be missed. I'd probably choose chocolate. That would spare my dilemma whether I really love Coldplay or not, and especially my doubts on where they're going.

Which Coldplay song to use as ringtone?
I use Politik. When someone calls you can't miss it.

Yeah, it's probably a typo.

[29-July-2011] Coldplay @ Fuji Rock Festival: Naeba Ski Resort, Japan
Well I don't like seeing they dropped Shiver and Everything's Not Lost. :( I'd much rather see them drop Viva or Fix You (I know this will never happen :p), but I'm probably alone. I mean, it worked brilliantly even before these songs existed. Ah whatever, don't want to start an argument.

CK
Yeah I'm also a medicine student and I think we both know that proteins and tests and other stuff in our body with all possible abbreviations of 2 to 4 letters/numbers exist :laugh3:. So the coincidence doesn't really surprise me. It doesn't even surprise me that we're going there, looking at all the theories that were posted here before. Great find though :D
