Was this Coldplay's best ever Glastonbury?
I'm not saying it was a poor performance, I guess I'm not too huge on Chris' vocals this time around. Us Against The World and Charlie Brown are sounding the best at this performance though. Rock Am Ring is my favorite. :dazzled: :dazzled:

Radiohead
I still can't imagine these songs performed live, at Glastonbury no less.
-
Sorry NME, the name of the new album is "Mutagenic Xylobrytes"
What's next? Did they leave Charlie Brown off the album so they could include Wedding Bells, Singing In The Rain, and re-recorded Live Is For Living? :wiseguy:

Will Life is For Living be re-released?
LP5 is a quintuple album consisting of every single thing they've done re-recorded plus new tracks. All in 85 minutes.

Will Life is For Living be re-released?
Just as much chance of that happening as there is Singing In The Rain. Maybe Everything's Not Lost will get another release, and maybe even Politik too!!!! Maybe maybe maybe!!!

LP5 Is Currently 85 Minutes Long (Interview with Will and Chris after Glastonbury)
It's kind of obvious at this point that LP5 is certainly not their masterpiece. If anything, they came close to it with AROBTTH and VLV. It might be their next album, but I have my doubts. At the very least I could see them putting it out as their seventh album, though I think they'll stop after that.

Princess of China
Don't lose faith, my friends! I'd imagine that this song'll get more exposure in the states, I couldn't see them playing anything other than what they know well and what they've been playing recently at Glasto, but I could definitely see them pull this number out at Lollapalooza.

Post your Stream Feelings with Coldplay at Glastonbury
I can't decide whether Us Against The World, Shiver, or Everything's Not Lost was the highlight of the show. Nothing else they did really caught me, not even Politik.

Rate 'Moving To Mars' now!
I can see this as the penultimate or final track on the album.

Moving To Mars: LISTENING PARTY! Countdown to Friday 24th June, 11.45am (BST)
Outstanding. I just wish I could find a high-quality rip... I pre-ordered the digital copy and I doubt I'll be able to find it at all in a perfect bitrate

If you could, how would you change the songs we've heard so far?
I don't fancy Will's vocals. :| I wish Major Minus were kind of longer, though. I'm loving those sirens towards the end, though.

LP5 Tour setlist predictions?
I don't think they'll play Strawberry Swing, Us Against The World, or Lovers In Japan as often. They'll probably throw in a couple new songs and something older like Life Is For Living or something unexpected like Daylight.

Final Conclusion on The New Singles and LP5 after Research.
You can't really compare these songs to Major Minus. Lost? was an alternate take on an existing song and A Spell A Rebel Yell was just something to keep busy in the meantime. Unless there's another take on Major Minus and Moving To Mars is experimental filler bullshit... My conclusion: EP =/= Maxi-single

What track number will the Title of LP5 be?
First, the MX intro.

Major Minus: LISTENING PARTY! Countdown to Thursday 23rd June, 9pm (BST)
It wasn't too bad, but certainly nothing special. I bet Moving To Mars will conquer all on friday.

Major Minus: LISTENING PARTY! Countdown to Thursday 23rd June, 9pm (BST)
That was pretty good, I can appreciate the Buckland a lot more in this version :jonny:

Lyrics discussion (and poll)
The lyrics to this song literally made my morning. :D I'm absolutely loving it, space symphony indeed.
