Okay, so I must accept the fact Coldplay want to become a pop-band. :bigcry: There was no other band in the world like them prior to Mylo Xyloto. All of a sudden they're lost in the sea of mainstream music.

Okay, I calmed down after the initial disappointment and concluded the intro has some potential so I can say I like it. But the rest of the song isn't worth a mention IMO. I gave it a 4 :blank:

Agreed. And it's not like they must always come up with a song that will make you cry or put you in a wistful, melancholy mood but Paradise is a kind of song unable to elicit any other emotion but scorn. I'm like :blank: now. All I remember after listening to it for few times is the para-para-paradise bit. From the albums where you could find only a couple of songs that you don't really like they turned to making one where you can barely find the ones that you can listen to (UATW, hopefully another one we haven't heard yet but that's high expectations) without wanting to say to the band : "What were you thinking on that one?!"

The lyrics are somewhat poor and yeah, it kind of resembles One Republic here and there. :confused:

I'm in two minds about it. If it's something like Viva,then yes, it will mater, if it's anything like first three albums, I won't mind the order.

I can't say because I haven't listened to it yet. I'm certainly not buying it if it's something I don't like or even if it's 'meh' for me just in order to do Coldplay a favour.

Although the title might suggest the opposite, I think DLIBYH will be a more upbeat, fast song like Hurts LIke Heaven...btw, I'm really looking forward to those slow ones, like Us Against the World ( :dazzled: ), Princess of China, and hopefully A Hopeful Transmission ( I grew so fond of that title) and Up in Flames ( :dazzled: ).

To be honest, I listened to that crappy recording of Princess of China only once, so basically, it'll be like Paradise for me, another completely new song.
