  1. Oh yeah, if this was their last tour and I didn't go to the concert and say'goodbye and thank you for a beautiful period of my life', I'd be thoroughly disappointed in myself and couldn't forgive myself so I think there's a high probability that I will attend a concert. BUT...I'm sure they'll make at least one more album and continue to tour after MX era.
  2. I love it when people mention Oracle's love for this and that song as a reason why it should be liked.
  3. Us Against the World > Moving to Mars > Charlie Brown > Hurts Like Heaven > Princess of China > Up in Flames > Major Minus >> Paradise>>>Every Teardrop is a Waterfall I still hope there will be a song to top UATW :bomb:
  4. I was just going to comment on the uselessness of this thread but since other users have already done it...now you have a useless post in a useless thread.
  5. 7 from me. What I find repellent in this song is the repetition of 'Up in Flames', Chris's falsetto is not successful this time but rather makes me cringe and there's a bit of that boring feeling to it. The studio version is likely to get a higher rate, though.
  6. Me neither. offtopic: I love your signature
  7. Abracadabra replied to Choldplayer's topic in Coldplay
We've heard much of the material that will appear on the album, so judging by that, I would rather not have another album like this than be further disappointed in them.
  8. Your question made me infer that you think older fans think Coldplay is only about slow and quieter songs and that's why they don't like most of what we've recently had a chance to listen to. That's the most common sterotype about this band. Sorry if I'm wrong though. To answer your question, an album made up exclusively of songs like UIF, UATW would be quite boring, despite the songs being interesting enough per se.
  9. That really is a serious question. I can't get over the impression that they don't.
  10. It's like an average song from X&Y, not really one that will make you cry like R42 said (although I learned not to believe it anymore), but it is certainly a relief to hear something that resembles Coldplay I love.
  11. Metric - Sick Muse

  13. This band is not bad.
  14. Probably Have you ever done something you knew you would regret

  16. And maybe those who say 'horrible' things just simply don't like this sophistication you say Coldplay is heading to. What really gets me is that people who don't like the 'new' Coldplay are described as being uncapable of understanding the new direction. I'm being repetitive, but it's like Coldplay can't make a song that would displease so many people and they really must be under a mistake. As for posting horrible stuff, yeah, I've seen some vicious comments on here, have perhaps myself overreacted a bit and don't have intention to defend it all, but these obsessed, infatuated comments like 'They're amazing, shut up haters, if you don't like it, don't listen to it' don't make much sense, either.
  17. That's a fine description
  18. Perhaps, I don't know. What I meant to say is that, back then nobody cared about how Coldplay will do on billboard. I'm kind of prejudiced against billboard and the music it promotes.
  19. MtM and the leftover songs from some of the previous albums.
