Well in coldplay's case, EMI sends out promotional/advanced copies to interviewers and other people so that when they meet Chris, Guy, Jonny and Will, the interviewers have a better understanding of the album so they can ask questions related to the new songs. So how do they get leaked??? people distribute and copy these advanced copies. Coldplay did an interview with the comedy duo "Hamish and Andy" last week and they talked about this. Basically they said that every copy that EMI sends out to someone is encrypted with a special code so that if a song/ the album does every get leaked, EMI could just check the code and identify the person who leaked it. Chris said that even when they were mastering the album a few weeks ago, they get sent the file by email and then a code is texted to them to access the file :) This is the interview: [ame= ] [/ame]

i agree, Mylo Xyloto could in fact relate directly to the artist and the artists message though like it's been said, they're just keeping it a secret possibly to make the message more subtle. They could also be denying the relation as an 'example' of how easy or simple it is to lie or keep things a secret just like the artists' message of how we should wake up to the reality and basically stop believing everything that the media says and yes, i realise this may seem a bit far fetched........

So i've decided to spread the word of Mylo Xyloto..............one Apple MacBook Pro at a time aha. I went to an Apple store in the city today and decided to open their iTunes page on the some of the computers :P i did it to around 7 macbook's :rolleyes:

definitely ONE of their best songs. i honestly think they have too many amazing songs so i'll never have one favourite as it's always changing. The beat is fucking incredibly though :P
