  4. I won tickets to see them in like 2005 or 2006... it was a VIP setting at a bar in Hartford, CT and only 20 or 30 people were there. When they were done performing, they sat down at a table and had their backs turned to everyone. A security guard told everyone to stand back and leave them alone basically, which really turned me off to them personally. There were not a lot of people there, they could've taken photos or signed autographs, and even if they didn't want to, they could've just left instead of sitting there ignoring everybody. Their music isn't bad though.
  5. There are some beautiful tattoos on this thread... I've been thinking of getting one, but I doubt it'll happen because I'm petrified of having tattoo regret, and my boyfriend of 3 years hates tattoos.

I've seen a few kids on leashes when I worked at a department store. I also saw a lot of parents ignoring their children, letting them run around, bumping into people, and making a mess. I personally wouldn't put a leash on my child (unless I somehow gave birth to a puppy, but since I'm not really into canines like that, I don't see that happening). I don't have a problem with other people using a leash though. It's better than losing your child and/or letting them wreak havoc on the public.

  10. I really hope they hit Hartford and Madison Square in 2013. It'll give me a reason to go home again. and I wish they'd do Jacksonville, FL shows. Atlanta is a 6 hour drive from my house and Tampa is like a 4 hour drive. I personally don't mind travelling to see them (hell, I'm taking a plane at the end of this month to see them and I'm petrified of flying) but it would be nice to only take a 30 minute drive to see them and be home the same night.
  11. Just found out I'll be going.. we got tickets behind the stage in section 219 or something for the 8/3 show which is fine with me. It's the first time I'm seeing a concert with my mother (and toting her around on public transportation - we'll be coming from Connecticut) so it should be interesting :) It's weird, almost every time they tour I end up seeing them on 8/2, 8/3, or 8/4. :)
  12. ...where did everyone go who met Chris?! Looks like a parking garage. Sorry if it was covered already and I missed the answer... lol. Anyway I'm not familiar with the area (only my second time in Atlanta) and I wanted to stay late, but my boyfriend wanted to go back to the hotel. I can't blame him... we had to be up really early the next morning to make the 6 hour drive back to Jacksonville to get the rental car back on time, and he was doing all the driving. I'm seeing them in Boston at the end of this month... luckily since I have no way to get back to Connecticut (where I'll be staying) until 5:30am the next morning, I'll definitely hang around the arena and try to get an autograph or a picture! This was my 11th time seeing them... I've seen them in 4 other states but I have to say, this was the liveliest crowd of all the shows I've been to, and it's pretty apparent to me why they love playing Atlanta so much :) Anyway... here's a video I got from Section 309. There's a couple more on my channel too... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8ee337igQM]Coldplay in Atlanta - July 2 2012 - Every Teardrop is a Waterfall - YouTube[/ame] The visual quality isn't great on the videos I took (I kept handing my camera off to my boyfriend so I could jump around and stuff, plus some people kept walking by us in the middle of the concert... WHY?!? They must not've been aware that Coldplay was on the freakin' stage) but the audio quality is good imo
  13. pshhht I've been here since Saturday :p We're at our hotel by the airport now... heading to Varsity soon and then to the Bodies exhibit, and once we're done with that... aaaaah!!!
  14. Haha yep! First it was "six months til Coldplay!"... then it was "6 weeks til Coldplay!"... now we're counting down the days :)
  15. I'm so excited.. my friends are sick of hearing about it. Aahhhhhhh but I can't wait! I've got crappy seats but I don't even care, I'm just happy to be going :D

  21. Sorry for bumping an old thread, but I found this and figured I'd share my setlist, too. It's from the Today Show on June 27, 2008... I got it by simply standing by the stage area as everyone was leaving. The crew person handing them out handed out a few copies, but I didn't see any writing on them. This was the last one he gave out. Underneath "42", it also says "politik/trouble", but 42 was the last song they performed. I'm just wondering if anyone can tell me who you think the setlist belonged to, judging by the writing? And also, does anyone know who may have written on it and what the writing means? I've always wondered...
