They will close the set with something new. At least that's what i wish for :P

Hi everyone, couldn't sleep too much, it's 5.20am. Any important news during last 5 hours? Coldplay is performing 2. ?

All has been discussed about previous albums like 1000 times and from every different angle possible, can we please turn the page with that? :D Let's wait for new songs and album, and take them as they come.

I'm just waiting to see, if they still manage to come out with something new. I remember them saying very often "We don't want to repeat ourselves at all." and that's something which makes good artist these days. I'm very much appreciating that they have stayed out of comfort zone for a long time and always evolved their sound. I think that X&Y for them was pretty much staying in comfort zone and that's why they don't seem so happy about it. But this time i see them very much mixing their past sounds and good things of each album rather than coming up with something totally new and different. So if it will be a mix of all good things of each era, it will be good. But still if they manage to come up with something different, it will be their most interesting record.

NOW is the hardest phase of waiting :D you know that something is about to come out very soon, but you don't know when exactly...

There might be happening something at Apple Event today... I got a strange feeling. Since the venue for it is 7000 seater Bill Graham Civic Auditorium, there most definitely will be some big musical guest. The question is... is this Coldplay or someone else? I'm not so sure they are releasing whole album for free, but if they would perform there, we would get at least a single. Btw... Nice to be posting again after a long time, as anticipation is growing to max now.

Whoever is behind that story, it better be something serious... OR i will... Hopefully you won't regret all that hype now, huh? :rolleyes:

Haha :D, i randomly found this old thread... that's kind of meaningful little piece of paper at the time, when i have really become a fan of Steven Wilson's music and waiting for his new album. Actually the story is that this paper was thrown on the stage by a fan and SW actually criticised that fan. So hopefully anyone who started to hate him because of this photo can now erase this hate. ;) But anyway, most of the times i listen to his music, i found myself thinking what a great music Coldplay actually could make if they'd only want. If Coldplay could add even 10% more complexity in their songs, their music would be different in the best possible way. Steven Wilson and his different music projects definately deserve to be respected. His music could be quite complex to listen when you're into poppier music, but i advise to give at least a try. Few songs which remind me of Coldplay [video=youtube;BClzBQmZZBc] [video=youtube;VqwimhR89fQ] and finally little piece from the upcoming album, which seems to be definately one of the best concept albums of the year. Anyway, I think "Miracles" included in tracklist of "A Head Full of Dreams" is possible, but it is unlikely. They must really have a creativity crisis if they can't write enough new songs and i feel this can't be the problem right now. Probably "Atlas" was considered part of "Ghost Stories" tracklist in the early stages, but it was given for the "Hunger Games" movie eventually.

Take an example of this man from the video and be friendly, polite, sensible, funny, ironic, awkward or whatever, but never offensive and intolerant. I think that's what makes him so sexy. haha :D That's meant mainly to you, Dalekslayer. :) Hopefully this helps us to get over this unnecessary argument in this thread. And we can continue to discuss what a nice song "Miracles" is... Sounds especially nice before the Christmas.
