  1. An album what I would think is really worth mentioning: 4. solo album by Steven Wilson, called "Hand. Cannot. Erase." It's not really mainstream music as the previous ones in here, but everyone who is interested in good and quality rock albums with a strong concept, I would say this is the one of the highlights of 2015. ;)
  2. Maybe they decided "f*ck it, let's play whole LP7" ?
  3. I agree it could sound as a cheesy title, but after "Mylo Xyloto" and "Ghost Stories" and the lyrics on these album, I wouldn't say "A Head Full of Dreams" sounds noticeably different. Lyrics on these last albums have been pretty straightforwad and simple (of course there has been few exceptions with some songs). It seems like Chris consciously just let's the lyrics come out as natural and pure as he can. He has tried to express in interviews several times something like "the feeling of the lyrics is more important than meaning". And I think although these lyrics have been simple, there is more deep feeling of honesty and purity in them than you may think at first. I would say that most of the Coldplay songs aren't lyrical masterpieces, but they still manage to sounds great and catchy. Maybe "A Head Full of Dreams" doesn't say much at first, but who knows what is the deeper meaning behind it. Maybe there is some strong concept behind it and they felt that it could be named only "A Head Full of Dreams" although it's sounds really cliched. I also think that the titles and lyrics may feel different to people who are natural at English and those who aren't native speakers, although they are at really good level.
  4. I think they would quit immediately after that question. :laugh3:
  5. So they play only A Sky Full Of Stars there? I think it would be nice time to play Miracles too. :wink3: I mean seriously, why not?
  6. Some news about Miracles, but still no clue when we get to hear it for the first time... Film critic who liked the song: On 14. December Chris is performing Miracles at some kind of dinner meeting: http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/race/angelina-jolie-chokes-up-thanking-754124
  7. LP8

I think only thing what gives enough excitement for desperate Coldplayers is speculating about album. I mean "LP7 called A Head Full Of Dreams... hmm okayy, f*ck that! On to the next one. " :inquisitive:
  8. I think you are right. Now when I read it, I feel like there is no way I could wrote it. hahah
  9. For me the title sounds good. Something what I had hoped the next album would be called... Something what describes hopefullness and bouncing back from feeling negative. Why to compare it to "A Sky Full of Stars"? We could compare it to "A Rush of Blood to the Head". But definately that title sounds like there is certain underlying storyline.
  10. That was just out blue!!! He said he was so excited about it and couldn't hold back to tell it to Zane Lowe
  11. Oh gosh, LP 7 is called "A Head full of Dreams"
  12. I'm not sure we can identify the gender of BooBooBoo at the moment, maybe there even isn't any gender. BooBooBoo could be some form of higher level existence from different dimension. BooBooBoo appears only when this thread needs a new push to relieve our pain of waiting for the new album. There could be the BooBooBoo in every Coldplayer, you just need to get in peace with your inner self and it will appear itself to you in a most wonderful way. Not sure what I tried to say, but it sounded smart for me...
  13. Something what I found while doing quick searching. "Miracles" being described as "milquetoast-y Coldplay song" in a review of Unbroken. Link here: http://blogs.indiewire.com/theplaylist/review-angelina-jolies-unbroken-starring-jack-oconnell-domhnall-gleeson-and-garrett-hedlund-20141202 I have no idea, what that really means, but in dictionaries it's translated as: timid, meek, unassertive in nature, overly proper, ineffectual. It's made up from the name of comic's character.
  14. I remember that melody now... I think it was played in several concerts what we could hear on live on radio.
  15. When you start to define word "miracle" with Coldplay song "Miracles"... ummmm... ...even if you haven't heard the song.
  16. If you know that kind of detail, then you should have pointed out a video or something. Why are you giving these superficial clues? And it's even a little weird that you know or could find connections between the songs and some melodies from Montreal 2 years ago. Normal people won't even remember these things.... Unless you are Chris Martin himself and remembered now "oh I played some melodies there, I wrote some really good ones back in Montreal few years ago and I played them, now these are finished songs..." Maybe BooBooBoo is Chris Martin, or someone...? :D
  17. Finally! Yes that seems to be true. https://www.facebook.com/goldsteinmusicpage More stuff in here: http://www.goldsteinmusic.com/audio We should contact him to ask if he knows about the incident what happened.
  18. ^ These days everything is on the Internet :D at least somewhere. Just sometimes some things are not meant be available until the certain time... Sorry for the irony, the short answer: NO it's not yet and there isn't even 1 second of that song available.
  19. ^ Chris voice is indeed beautiful and I like his singing, but it lacks the grit and power, what U2 songs require. Beautiful Day chorus just was too weak, Bono sings it 5 times better.
  20. Saw the video now. Chris tried his best definately, but these songs are written for Bono's voice, so he definately struggled and he knew that. At least he enjoyed it fully and "substitu2" added kind of funny and awkward undertone to all that. Chris did what he could, I hope people won't criticise him too much. Like I thought, Chris' voice struggles to be powerful enough when there is required louder singing, it just goes kind of flat. His voice is quite fragile and it's all about playing with mixing low notes and falsetto. "With or Without You" sounded almost good, not too bad. It just shows again how much band's identity relies on singer's voice and how certain songs are meant to be performed by only certain group of people.
  21. Did someone find out already what is that song in that ad then? Still singing voice in that song sounds a lot like Chris though, and piano is very Coldplayish, nobody can deny that ;). I think that whole incident deserves being analysed in the news worldwide. Indeed it's a great example how far can things go with desperate fandom. Melody sounded very simple and a little cheesy, and production wasn't even close to Coldplay's standards, but still I thought maybe it's some demo of that song or the actual song will be produced and arranged in better way.
  22. Hmmm, that's interesting... I've always tried to imagine how Chris' voice would sound in U2 songs. I have something against Bono's voice, it gets annoying very quickly for me in some songs. Would like to hear Chris singing Every Breaking Wave.
  23. Media restrictions were ended today, so detailed reviews are allowed since today.
  24. So now that we know that we got trolled with Miracles on Sky movies ad I start to wonder... :sneaky: BooBooBoo why you didn't say anything about Miracles? You really couldn't tell about Miracles because you haven't heard it yet or that you didn't want to give us any information (which seems unlikely because you said some comments about few songs) OR you don't know actually nothing? Come on mate, you can say us ;)
  25. hahaha I always suspected, that something might be wrong with that thing, because the production of that song sounded really low quality for me, not even close to Coldplay standards, but i thought maybe there was missing some layers in that ad. Funny thing is that, recently that video has been spread by many different websites, so it's one of the biggest trollings in history now...
