Hymn for the Weekend
Could the choir in this song mean that these are their kids singing?

[2015-11-12] Chris Martin interview On Air with Ryan Secrest
Everglow is a ballad, as they mentioned. But more and more it sounds like a most interesting and bravest album by Coldplay. If it's good or bad, we'll see :D

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
This time the promotion is just more intensive and more concentrated due to short period between the first single and album release. Also taking into account that they're starting the tour soon, it's totally the right thing to do.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Where did that come from? Sounds interesting though, dreamy and progressive song

[2015-11-10] Coldplay interview on KROQ Kevin and Bean show
Did hear it right? Chris was saying that AOAL is the only disco song on album? Need to listen that again...

Adventure Of A Lifetime
Have to admit, after hearing the NRJ performance in good quality, i'm liking the NRJ live version now way more than studio version. For me they mixed the guitar a bit too loud in studio version. Of course depends how you listen, but i used different options and in all of them i feel like guitar is too much into face. And also... maybe studio version is too long :D

[2015-11-06] Coldplay Performing at TFI Friday (20:00 UK time)
I agree with that, it doesn't give a feel of serious band performing. There's a lot coming from backing track recently, strings, piano, vocals, some rythmic elements and also some guitar parts and it just feels like a joke when Chris is jumping around. I understand, it gives Chris better opportunity to connect with the lyrics, but that's for too many songs already. LiJ, VLV, ETIAW and ASFOS already had this a bit embarrassing feel "oh what is band performing here actually?" I would certainly prefer if they have a keyboard player for live performances, if Chris doesn't want to play anything. Some people want to see band performing live music not just performing. Although i liked Adventure of a Lifetime as studio version, this performance of this song felt less Coldplay than any other song before. Hearing Chris playing piano would have given a lot this time, at least until the last woo hoo parts he could have just sat and felt the groove behind the piano. In live piano track was tuned down and Jonny playing over it. + Chris singing out of tune... too bad. But hopefully i'll get used to it and they get better. :)

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
As much as i like Adventure of a Lifetime - that groove is infectious, i still felt like this was a bit like warm up single for something bigger. So i'm expecting the bigger single in 2-3 weeks. So far based on Amazing Day and AOAL, i'm not sure at all what can we expect. Especially when reading about "rocket-powered Hymn For The Weekend" and people who are included in songs. WTF... but i think it's the most exciting album they're going to release, at least before the release has happened. Whether it's good or bad, doesn't matter right now. :D

Adventure Of A Lifetime
I'm interested to see how they're going to perform that song live. Seeing it live could change the opinion for some people to more positive for sure. I think this new album is intended to sound great in live. So i'm interested to see what they've come up with. I just hope that Chris would be playing the piano part and acoustic guitar part in the end, not just jump around and sing. Any idea when they're perform it live for the first time?

#AOAL - Please post your review
I agree with most of your post, but not with the part i quoted... We aren't here only to enjoy Coldplay, we're here to discuss the music of one of the biggest bands in world.:D So i think it's fun that there is so many different opinions, it just shows how much Coldplay matters for people. But yes... i agree, there shouldn't be judging based on previous albums. You just got to judge everything seperately and if people can't do that, then it's difficult for them to stay fan of Coldplay.

[2015-11-06] AOAL Premier at Nick Grimshaw Show BBC1
These improvisations are just crazy, i can hear the rest of band being amazed by that as well :D

Adventure Of A Lifetime
It's definitely the next unique piece of music by Coldplay. Everyone who's fan of great music should take their hat off to it. It might not be the greatest ever song by them, but what they tried with that song, totally worked. Production is great. Different, interesting, a lot is going on, but it still feels sparse and clean. Coldplay song has never been rythmically at so good level! I just like that song!

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
It will be on Nick Grimshaw show at 7.45am, that's for sure. For example Adele was there around exactly the same time when she released Hello. If you want to be sure, check these past episodes. :P

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
hahahaha :D, that's funny, i wonder if someone caught them filming it.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
I'm just trying to say that... if they started the teasing, they will probably end it with announcing something officially. Right now these things make sense for only diehard fans. That's just my guess, that they won't do a lame release.
-
LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Too many maybes in here, guys. But here's the thing. We don't know actually nothing, we're just assuming something based on few teasers. They haven't said any real words for the last 2 weeks or something. I kind of feel like it's a competition in here who's more right :D
-
LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
It's not stopping them, but i see them doing a worldwide exclusive... short interview and then "here it is, first time played in the world, our new single" and song starts. And afterwards they tell about itunes release and stuff. It would deserve a proper introduction and official first play. Releasing it just randomly through social media would be lame, I would be disappointed. :D

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
I won't put my money on releasing the song today. New music is released on Friday and i think they follow that. Probably we get the official announcement of the single release and title, maybe some lyrics and stuff like listen to BBC tomorrow + that some more big news are coming up tomorrow (album announcement). But let's wait and see...

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Just saw the latest teaser. I have to say, i kind of saw it coming after yesterday, a little snippet of a song. Sounded colourful, but too early to judge anything. Guitar sounded like Every Teardrop, but hopefully that riff varies more than in Every Teardrop, because otherwise it gets monotone. But i'd say that background ambient synthy stuff with some filtered vocal sounded good, creates a good atmosphere. There is potential for great song. A lot is at stake, so it better be damn good song. Let's wait what's the next step tomorrow. I predict tomorrow they officially announce the song title, maybe give us some lyrics also and that they're going to release it on Friday + some more very big news coming up.
