this should makes for a nice single. it is catchy, but not in that annoying way sjlt is.

for the most part, people that view coldplay videos are fans. so usually the comments are relevant to the music/band. but this is such a politically divisive topic. like someone mentioned before, i wish people would look at this morally or humanely, putting politics aside, but that is not the case. so people made this song a political commentary and that brought in the political ugliness of the internet, along with a lot of non-fans. and looks like the bashers are the ones that are being the loudest, which happens. honestly, if you spend time reading any political commentary from different groups, hope for humanity goes out the window. it's too bad that such a musically good song is getting this treatment.

i think now more and more this is a byproduct of how huge and diverse the audience of the band is. but to be fair, they did put out quite a few very good songs as b-sides/in EPs in the earlier eras too. but now, it feels more prominent.

chris mumbles so much. he enunciates better at interviews, etc. but if you catch candid videos of him talking to roadies, band and such, he is mumbling at the speed of sound. hardly understandable.

yeah, they have said that the band put the song/emotion above individuals. also it's what the rest of the band wished for too. to remain off the limelight and let chris take on. to me it seems like they are happy with the band dynamics. from the band's perspective they are equals and a democracy. may not come across as that to the public. but the band have said before they are ok with that. these questions have been thrown at the band at least for more than a decade.
