  1. Some say eFestivals (the source) is reliable, some say it's not..In any case they're not the ones selling tickets obviously, so not an official source, plus the way the article is phrased sounds a bit like wishful thinking more than anything else. I mean we could easily have written the same.
  2. i cannot :dead: i cannot deal with this man :dead: i just :dead: look at ugh everything
  3. Membership is definitely open right now though, and they also posted on Facebook that membership was open today, so it must be some kind of mixup. Yes I mean they first ask for general information, then ask what kind of disability you have and that's where I stopped the process.
  4. I'm a fan of Kodaline too and while there's a similar spirit to Coldplay, it's definitely not the same end result. It's definitely understandable that they get compared though. They're quite a young band too, as said in the interview, i think it's normal they don't have a distinctive identity yet. I mean I'm sure that when Coldplay were done with Parachutes and about to release AROBTTH, everyone still called them some kind a pseudo-soft-Radiohead-rip-off, am I right or am I right? In any case it makes me melt to read them praise Coldplay like that :cheesy:
  5. ^That's weird because the membership appears open on the website, i did the first few steps (they first ask for some general information, and then they ask about your condition).
  6. Congrats Daniela!! :awesome: edit: ohmygod i have a badge now how cool :awesome:
  7. There are lots of fake rumours that are spread around Twitter and the Internet in general, so when something that interesting gets announced, fans tend to get anxious to see the source mentioned, to be sure they're not getting excited over nothing :\ It all happened so fast and there was quite a lot of confusion, that's why you could say it was a bit of a "hellish" time
  8. So this is probably an old pic (curly hair) but it just (re)surfaced on Twitter and :dead: and :dead: and. :dead:
  9. Yes but the great thing about them is that they really seem not to care about what the media say :awesome:
  10. Just read that interview transcript and ohmygod!! It feels so funny and weird and wonderful to read it, and think of what they've become! Like when Will goes: "It’s really cool ‘cos this tour’ll be really good for us ‘cos a lot of Muse’s fans have actually heard of us and quite like us too" or Guy says "We’ve done alright so far, we released our single, the BLUE ROOM EP and it’s done very well apparently.’"...oh the feels :awesome::wacky:
  11. Read on Twitter that Chris wrote a song for Ellen DeGeneres' birthday and recorded it on his phone, and they played that recording at the end of her show today!! If anyone finds a link, please share! :D
  12. :worried2: I am SO not googling that then :awesome:
  13. You evil :dazzled:
  14. But stilllll :bomb:
  15. oh for crying out loud :dead: i just cannot he can't you know it's it's not FAIR
  16. Holycow that is rude! So rude it almost sounds funny  And people should get over Gwyneth. She seems to be wise enough not to let it get to her and affect what she does though, thankfully.
  17. Coldplay's Ghost Stories was the first. I wasn't around for all the anticipation for Mylo Xyloto, and I became a fan around the release of it, so yeah definitely Ghost Stories. LOVED the anticipation! Kodaline's second album Coming Up For Air and James Bay's first album Chaos And The Calm haven't been released yet and waiting is torture :dead: I already know almost all the songs from James Bay's album, but I know the versions will be slightly different than what I've heard so far, either because they get their first studio recording or because he changes the studio version a bit for the album. I'm super excited for Kodaline's second album. Second albums are always so difficult and important as bands/artists have to prove they can evolve whilst reasserting their identity. So far I like Honest and Unclear (no actually i LOVE Unclear :dazzled: ), and 2 other songs are available on online but I'm stopping myself from listening to them  As for their first album I already knew most songs before it came out (kind of like in James Bay's case), it is really the first time that I'm completely in the dark for a Kodaline release. How exciting!
  18. I'm going to take a risk and throw it out there... Maybe that app is actually pretty great? :|
  19. Well as a fan I think it's okay to support Coldplay in any way
  20. Streaming sure has expanded a lot these last few years, but artists need money to live from music, and streaming services don't provide them with much, so there will still be other forms of release for quite a few years, unless they suddenly find a model that somehow makes the biggest stakeholders in this industry happy, which doesn't really seem to be the case at the moment. And anyway, as Cobalt said: support them any way you want :)
  21. :bomb: I don't, i think it was on Twitter? Also clearly what happened was that this pap couldn't handle being this close to such handsome human being. Chris was literally too hot to handle for the poor man.
  22. ehhh while they do take inspiration from various artists from various eras and do sample sometimes, I *highly* doubt they'd sample Lea Michele and ALSO use a highly similar title. Even when they sample a song, they make it very much their own. (and not to get in this debate once again but we all know that your last sentence is highly debatable and not necessarily a fact, more of a point of view.) The fact that there are so many people listed does make me lean towards Rihanna's (or perhaps another artist?) theory. It seems to me that Coldplay VERY RARELY have songs with so many people in the credits. Even when they have collaborations, they seem keen to make sure it is their own, and so not that many people are involved. You'd have one particular or one artist, not a full team like this one.
  23. that IS strange indeed Could it be a mistake?
