Aeterna is iconic, wish it would be a full length track but we'll settle for about 1:40 i guess... I don't expect the studio version to be as awesome as the live version though. One of my favourite elements is the super loud bass, which Guy just plays over the track so it's safe to assume the studio version isn't as funky alas. One World's instrumentation is truly gorgeous, hauntingly beautiful. Sunrise is one of my all time favourite Coldplay songs so I am excited to hear the final result after all the recording and mixing is done! Overall i assume Moon Music is gonna be the same style as MOTS. Secretly hoping they add a last minute song or something so it doesn't feel like an EP but we'll see!

Hi! It depends on where you go and the people who are queuing. In Europe, in general, it has become quite common indeed to mark a number on people's hands. This usually happens with the first few people (like in the first 50s i'd say). However, it does not always happen, it really depend on how organized/experienced the other people in the queue are, and it's not always respected. For instance in places like Paris or Wembley, I think security was quite sensitive to it, but in Glasgow, absolutely nobody respected or cared for the numbered system haha I'm not familiar with the queuing culture in other continents though!

I almost did not come to this show. My friend Claire and I booked this trip very spontaneously. My birthday is in May. I spent the weekend at Claire's and this one morning we were waiting for the oven to warm up our bread. Claire said he had been looking at Frankfurt tickets and thought we should maybe go. We organised it all in 10 minutes. Found tickets pretty quickly on this very forum. Thank you again! It is really sad that you could not come, but know that you made two diehard fans very happy. All this week, I was ill. I really was not sure I was going to make it or have the strength to go through an entire concert. But I took every precaution and a lot of rest and felt better. The day of the show, we went to pick up our tickets and I let Claire around the stadium in the afternoon while i got some rest at the hotel. I honestly think that saved my night. Claire and I managed to meet back inside the stadium a while after the doors opened. In the meantime she had tried the kinetic floors and, and , and!! She rode one of the bikes for twenty five minutes! They usually only ask that you use them for five, but everyone was impressed with her! We were joined by friends - hi Nathan hi Ian and Carl - who eventually led us to the front right side. There were barriers between the very front part of the pitch and the rest (because of the early entry I suppose), so Nathan Claire and I had to stay a bit behind for a few minutes. But then, they let people in! I assume they kept the barriers up at the front area for the early entry and first people to come in, but it's a big area and the rest of the stadium filled up pretty quickly….So at the start of the concert, the front area was not as full. Security let us through, thank you folks! So we were on Guy's side, we had so much space to dance around, we could even get drinks or rush to the toilet, and we could go the barrier - at the very end of the stage - whenever Chris (or Guy!!!) walked around. That is truly a great option to have if you ever wonder what new spot to try if you're going to several shows, and you're going with friends, I definitely recommend this. This was my 11th Coldplay show and yet somehow I had slightly forgotten the incredible amount of absolute joy they bring. Good lord. The entire set is pure, unaltered joy and fun and love and beauty. Because it's just not possible to truly know until you have experienced it. Time absolutely flew by, this show is so well done and so smooth and seamless…. They are truly at their peak. I was supposed to take it slow (due to my illness) but all safety flew out the window pretty much the moment they walked on stage lmao Now I do need to talk about the giant, beautiful, panic inducing, not played in Europe since 2011, elephant in the room… POLITIK!!!! Politik is my absolute favourite Coldplay song. I got into Coldplay in the year 2011 and got hooked for life while watching the Madrid MX launch concert live on Youtube. One of the highlights of the set for me was Politik. I was truly blown away. Alas I missed out on tickets for the December arena tour and my first concert was at stade de France. At that point, they had ditched Politik from the setlist. It had always been a massive dream of mine to eventually hear Politik live. To me, it is the most hauntingly beautiful, powerful, raw, true coldplay song. This song is about truth, it is a truth in itself, it all comes down to one thing. It is pure. The world can easily feel shitty in a pretty massive and overwhelming way lately and we knew it was a matter of time before they brought back Politik to the set. I feel so lucky to have been there when they did and I truly hope they will play it again. They soundchecked it for the 2nd date. They have rehearsed a few times by now and it feels like they are really serious about it, not as a one-off, but they want it to work properly within the show. They decided to play it straight after Clocks, no transition. Great choice! I think it's pretty much the only place where it fits, the rest of the show has way too much joy. We all collapsed on the floor! We could not believe it! I will NEVER forget that moment with the bash bash bash! I literally fell to my knees and dropped my glasses! (found them quickly though thank god) So yeah obviously I was pretty much shaking and crying for most of the song. It was so beautiful though. That performance was truly great, Chris was on point. He was so focused, and restrained and sincere. Like he meant every single word. It felt vulnerable and true. Ian (Xtra) recorded it - it's on their instagram fyi. At the end you may or may not see a certain someone have a last emotional reaction to what had just happened hehe Now to go back to the rest of the show - special moments were: the end of Paradise, which included a special rap! We learnt from Phil that someone in Germany has released "a song called Paradise" (Phil's words hahaha) that is number 3 in the charts (Tiktok or Spotify). They included a bit in the set, as a German exclusive. Wonder if they will take it to the other countries, but it was pretty cool! Always love a different take on Paradise, let's face it the Paradise remix was a real highlight of the AHFOD tour. Magic in German! Now, I've seen Magic enough time not to be begging for it on the setlist, but Chris singing it in German was truly entertaining and adorable. I assume they'll do it in French (or maybe another song in French?) in Paris and honestly why not, that was fun!!! Obviously the lightclub is a lot of fun, I encourage everyone to imitate Chris' dance moves for maximum fun. And please, if you're close to the stage, hype him up!!! And on a setlist note I am so glad they included Infinity sign somehow, I had zero hope before the start of the tour, it is one of my favourites of the album . I should also add that The Scientist is the most iconic sing along of all time in the history of music that's just a fact. But the most special moments (other than, again, Politik) were not about the songs. The most special moments are those spent with my Coldplay friends, singing, dancing, laughing, on the verge of tears. I love this show so much not just because it had my favourite song, but also because I got to truly enjoy it and with such special people. Love you folks. OH and Guy came around at one point and smiled at us and looked happy and that was nice and at that moment I wish i wore my AAF tee-shirt Chris came by a few times. During ASFOS, he lifted his shirt RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME and then smiled at us!!!! He should be trialed for murder! Because I died! Right there! I've been in a phase of deep introspection the past 6 months. I've felt very low even just recently. Life is messy and overwhelming and sometimes empty. This one concert experience was the giant hug and push I so desperately craved and needed. And so much more. Thank you Coldplay and to all who made that day what it was. See you in Paris!

Checked the setlist and I have mixed feelings about certains things we're missing out on BUT Ohmygod I am impressed by how they found a way to make a setlist filled with their bigger hits, actually interesting and different! We were all low key expecting AHFOD 2.0, so this setlist and most importantly, the way they've organized it, is actually really refreshing and truly interesting, I cannot wait to experience it live! Ok so first of all : THE LENGTH! The insane length of that set! 27 songs! This may be normal for certain acts, but Coldplay are known to purposely perform "short" concerts for lots of reasons. Considering that one of these songs is 10 minutes long, this is truly impressive! I genuinely expected like no more than 20 songs because of Coloratura and I was okay with it. I am impressed that they want to push themselves further and go for that many tracks, especially as most of them are in full length. I truly applaud them for this! More Coldplay for us That being said, on the other hand, I would also appreciate a shorter setlist if that meant changing a few songs around. Who knows, maybe we're getting the best of both worlds? Then, the structure : now this is where it gets confusing and disorienting, but actually I think this is great. We were all expecting AHFOD 2.0 because the AHFOD tour setlist consisted 90% of iconic bangers, and because most Coldplay tours (especially MX and AHFOD) setlists had the same structure, that everyone was happy with. Now, if you can't change a big portion of the songs, because people do come to see you for those big hits, what else can you do? Change the structure! Brilliant! And most of genuinely did not expect it! You still have the Main stage, the B stage focus moments and the C stage, but there's a new plan coming on top of that to tell a story. It's very interesting. I like 2 things about that, other than the fact that it's truly surprising and refreshing : 1. I haven't seen a lot of footage, but from what I understand, instead of going for a quiet setting on the B stage, they're going for Dance party spirit on there. That's new. Also they enter and leave via the B stage. The message that we're "one big band" is really reinforced by that overall new B stage approach, I think. 2. The story. The structure is no longer just about the live experience, it's about the album itself. I think it does look messy and odd as a long list of songs, but it is meant to make sense once you experience it, so I'm not concerned. I do think it's great that we know what it means; They always talked about how the MOTS era(s) is (are) about using space as a metaphor, with different points of view. This is reflected on the setlist, which is organized by themes : Act I Planets : big bright energetic anthems, the planets that make up the Coldplay universe Act II Moons : "smaller" songs that revolve around the Planets, show a quieter atmosphere. I'm not clear about Viva's spot here, so maybe i'm all wrong or maybe it's just about the round b stage for that one. Act III Stars - this is about shiny lights, whether that comes from your soul or from the concert's actual light show. It's about burning bright, here or in the sky. Act IV Home : extremely grounded. Coming right back to earth and therefore coming home. Very personal THEN! The actual songs! I am SO HAPPY that Everyday Life gets a decent feature, between Orphans, Bani Adam, Everyday life AND SUNRISE...This is great! I believe it fits really well with the story and that is what saved us. Maybe also our constant begging paid off Almost nobody among Coldplay fans actually got to experience any of these songs so this is wonderful. Now if they could try to include Champions of the world at some of the dates (instead of another song i guess), that would be dreamy The biggest surprise is obviously the fact that Coloratura is not the closer.... I know some people had guessed it, but it just feels odd, considering how absolutely iconic it is as an album closer already. That being said I haven't seen any footage of the B song (which I NEVER expected to be featured lol) and I assume that when you see it, it does make sense. It does have a dreamy quality to it. I'm one of the few people who's happy that they're playing Human Heart I did assume we would only get half of it though, because they almost never invite their guests/opening acts on stage. Like how they never performed Fun despite touring with Tove Lo....... Extreme relief at Infinity sign being on the setlist, and I only expected them to put it as a transition, so it's great that they're making it a real song. Love it, can't wait for the dance party. Same with Midnight, I'm glad they found another Remix to perform on the setlist, why not Midnight! I see the casual crowd is confused but we the hardcore fans will just be minding our business and dancing I wanted them to get rid of GPASUYF as a big song but I'm really okay with a C stage version, I haven't heard it yet but I assume it's kind of like the Viva tour? Anyway, why not! I really hope they have the guts to switch up some of those Moon and Home songs but this is a good base at least. I am however very disappointed that they're not playing Politik, it would be a great fit these days and it would make a lot of sense. Tbh that's my only big complaint. The rest is so interesting, I'm happy to see how it works out! FINALLY : the features. We will need to talk about those weird ass alien heads Guy went full daft punk while chris has the goofy shrek hears....yep this truly is a coldplay concert. All in all this sounds like a wonderful concert and I can't wait to experience

I actually do really like the video! It's a confusing one, you can tell they simply did not want to make a choice between animation and live performance. But I do like the fact that it doesn't rely too much on the animation, while the animation does bring something interesting to the video. I am on board with this best of both worlds version 😅 I do feel that it's too messy, with too many brutal cuts, and also that the live performance itself that they took shots from, could have felt wilder/with more energy - but i guess they did with what they had for the footage. They did not exactly filmed all those performances last fall anyway.

For Politik, the theory is based on the fact they played it for the first couple dates of the AHFOD tour in 2016. It was solely due to the political climate at the time. It was definitely an odd one on the AHFOD tour setlist and they never played it again. It was definitely not meant to be played for the whole tour, I think they had even swapped it with The Scientist! So obviously the scientist came back and that was it. That being said, they have released more political songs since then, and given the extreme tension lately, it would almost be weird if they didn't perform Politik at all. That being said, i definitely don't expect it to be on the main setlist for sure haha For Everything's not lost, i fear this song is probably considered too long for their stadium gig setlist, especially wit Coloratura at the end. It worked on their last setlist because they did not intend to play the full MOTS tour set, so it was a nice filler. It would be an absolute dream come true for me to see it live so it would be awesome if they included it in the setlist sometime during this tour.

Unlikely it makes it on to main setlist for the entire tour sadly. B-Stage Magic or Always In My Head - although i would prefer none of those, maybe go for Yellow acoustic Human heart (1st half - full song if the love choir is there maybe at certain dates) Let Somebody Go Main Stage Charlie Brown People of the Pride Viva La Vida AOAL Fix You C-Stage - Alien Choir on their way there Yellow (acoustic) // LiJ acoustic if Yellow is on the B stage Sparks // Orphans or Champion of the world as a treat once or twice within the LatAm tour as a test and then never again because they will not have rehearsed those properly and it will sound weird City song or Cover Song Chris starts the Ole Ole Ole leading into Infinity sign playing as they walk back to Main stage Main Stage My Universe ASFOS Coloratura Now if we're talking what I'd REALLY want : Politik and Everything's not lost on principal setlist Til Kingdom Come on c stage because for some goddamn reason despite my many coldplay concerts they've never played it in my presence lol Champion of the world on b or c stage Most importantly have songs on rotation for B and C stage : TKC, COTW, LiJ, Orphans, their Day'n'Nite cover, Lost, Speed of sound (lol)... so that when they stay in the same city for several dates, at least one song on the setlist changes every night. Oh and absolutely impossible but one performance of Moving to Mars would save our souls.

During the stationhead Q&A this week, Phil said that Aurora was a planet that did not quite belong with the spheres but that he couldn't say more at the moment. So i'm definitely thinking it was supposed to be on MOTS vol1 but they removed it from the tracklist at the last minute. It's possible that at the moment they are seriously considering putting it on vol2. Another theory I've seen online is that this could be another collaboration with BTS, but this time with either Chris or Coldplay featuring on a BTS song. This theory is supported by the fact that, apparently, the deal with BTS collaborations usually involves 2 songs. Another element to support that theory would be the whale, which isseen as a reference to BTS. For me that whale could also simply be a reference to the planet, as a planet covered in water for instance.

Hello! Definitely not the official world tour setlist. We won't know the setlist until the tour actually starts. However the playlist could be an indication of some of the songs they are going to include.

Critics are being overly cynical yet all of them fail to point out that they are the only act of their scale that has recently put out brand new, completely different original work. All of the other big acts who have been releasing this year are relying on : old work, same old style, or heavy sampling. Pretty ironic that Coldplay are taking the shit for being "too commercial" amongst all this, when they're the ones taking the most risks out there.

Something's been bothering me and i'm sure lots of us... As per the leaflet (the map of the Spheres) AND the artwork cover show, there is a 13th sphere called Aurora, the tiny blue one. (on the same line as Utra and Infinity Station) According to the leaftlet and to the cards that people have been getting from the special box set, they created a dedicated alien language for this one as for all. Based on a thorough investigation (5 minutes of squinting my eyes at this lol) it seems to translate to "Aurow1".. But the album only features 12 songs, without any hidden track. The booklet with all the credits do not mention Aurora/Aurow1 at all either. We also know that the Japanese bonus track supposedly is a version of Higher Power, not a new track. Therefore a question remains : WHERE is Aurora? Is it a song that nearly made it to the album but was eventually discarded (Car Kids 2.0 which would fit with the Mylo Xylotwo theme of this era lol) ? Is it a hint towards Vol2?? Maybe it was supposed to be on Vol1 and will be on Vol2? Is it a different project and was never an actual song? What are your theories?

Human heart is therapy. I absolutely loved it when they played it at Glastonbury and I was really really longing for the song to finally be released. It is a stand out moment for me, very meaningful. I can tell I will keep this song close to my heart for a long time after this era. Really grateful for this song
