It's pretty good. I think you could get a good grade for it. Just one question -- in stanza 7, lines 3 + 4, can you get away with just doubling the line length like that??? I'm not sure whether you can or not, but then it's been a while since I learned about the "rules" of writing ballads. Anyway, yeah, pretty good.

Don't fret, for I have the answer to this little dilemma The US release had When It Started on it, but every other one has New York City Cops. 'Why?' I hear you ask... Because the album was released not very long after the 9/11 incident. New York City Cops has the line "New York City cops, they ain't too smart", which as you can imagine a lot of American people really would not have been too happy about. So they swapped the track on the US release for When It Started, but left it on there for UK and International releases. Problem solved.

I'd agree with The Empire Strikes Back, Terminator 2 and The Godfather II (I didn't think it was better than the first, but it wasn't far off). I'm not a fan of Ghostbusters, I haven't seen ROTK yet, and I thought Raiders Of The Lost Ark was the best Indiana Jones movie. I also choose Back To The Future Part II. Back To The Future was brilliant enough, but part 2 was just sensational. The less said about part 3 the better.

I heard they were called that because one of them had an Aunt Pearl who made jam. So they called themself "Pearl's Jam", which eventually changed to "Pearl Jam". That's what I heard anyway. Dunno if it's true. :confused:
