  1. ^ yep, he should definitely have been recognised :(
  2. it's been on, since someone was telling me about it in the pub the other night. it was about the conspiracy theories behind the moon landing, with people claiming it was hoax filmed in a huge Hollywood studio.
  3. i can't act one bit. i'm hopeless
  4. yeah, it happens now and then. every so often i get serious stinging pain in my fretting fingers. it goes away after a day or so. I get pains every so often in my right hand as well, probably RSI :(
  5. I think it's the same with a lot of people. I'm really into to Jeff Buckley at the moment. I haven't listened to much else this week. A year and a half ago I was hooked on Oasis all the time. I learned ALL of their songs on guitar, and I listened to nearly every album daily. But over the last few months, I've hardly really listened to them. They're still my second favourite band, but I just haven't really taken the time to appreciate the music recently. But there's always time for Radiohead. I can listen to their albums at any time and still appreciate it. I've never really shifted away from them.

  8. Jeff Buckley - Dream Brother There is a child sleeping near his twin The pictures go wild in a rush of wind The dark angel he is shuffling in Watching over them With his black feathered wings unfurled The love you lost with her skin so fair Is free with the wind in her butterscotch hair Her blue eyes bloom goodbyes With her head in her hands And her kiss on her lips of another Dream brother with your tears Scattered round the world Don't be like the one who made me so old Don't be like the one who left behind his name Cos they're waiting for you like I waited for mine And nobody ever came Don't be like the one who made me so old Don't be like the one who left behind his name Cos they're waiting for you like I waited for mine And nobody ever came I feel afraid and I call your name I love your voice and your dance insane I hear your words and I know your pain With your head in your hands And your kiss on the lips of another Your eyes to the ground And the world spinning round forever Asleep in the sand with the ocean washing over
  9. Radiohead - OK Computer Jeff Buckley - Grace
  10. the best band in the world ever
  11. well in that case, we must be getting seriously ripped off over here in the UK. A brand new US Tele over here costs about £750, which is over $1000.
  12. At the moment, it's... Jeff Buckley - Dream Brother
  13. Baldock is a very small town in North Hertfordshire 37 miles from the north of London. It used to be on the main trading route to the capital, and as such has a large number of inns, pubs, take-aways and restaurants for its size. It was founded in Roman times, and some of the architecture dates back as far back as the 16th century. The town contains a prestigious secondary school and four primary schools, a small industrial estate, several recreational areas, a sports hall, and is not far from an indoor swimming pool and leisure centre. 14. I bought the Live in Chicago DVD yesterday :) needless to say, it's absolutely amazing.
  15. thanks... i think  :D :D
  16. Jackie Chan may not be a good actor, but when you go to see a Jackie Chan film, you don't go for the bad acting, you go just to see him do all his own crazy stunts. And Jean Claude Van Damme is indeed terrible.
  17. With Mexican Fenders, the parts and electronics are cheaper than American ones, and they're more cheaply manufactured. I don't know the precise details, but it's just to do with the overall manufacturing quality, like binding, finish, electronics, setup etc. My bassist uses a Mexican Jazz Bass and it sounds amazing and plays brilliantly. It's not quite as good as a USA one, but the Mexican ones still sound awesome and aren't all that much worse than the US ones. At the price it's currently going for, it's an absolute bargain (they usually retail at around £500, which is about $850 I think).
  18. Kill Bill Vol. 2 may have been good, but it's nowhere near as good as Vol. 1. It isn't even as good as any of Tarantino's other movies, so it doesn't surprise me that nobody's mentioned it as one of their best movies of all time.
  19. There's a chance it could be at Knebworth Park, which is about 10 miles down the road from me. Aaaaaalriiiiight.
  20. well, I don't rate him :P he's my favourite actor. :)
  21. Radiohead - Sulk You bite through the big wall The big wall bites back You sit there and sulk You sit there and bawl You look so pretty When you're on your knees Disinfected And eager to please Sometimes you sulk sometimes you burn God rest your soul When the loving comes but we're already gone Just like your dad, you'll never change Each time it comes It eats me alive I try to behave But it eats me alive So I declare A holiday Fall asleep Drift away Sometimes you sulk sometimes you burn God rest your soul When the loving comes but we're already gone Just like your dad, you'll never change
