My friends come back in a few weeks from university, and they'll be around for four months, so I'll be spending pretty much every day with them. I can hopefully get my band a few gigs this summer. We haven't played a gig since September :confused: , since my other guitarist and bassist have both been at uni, so it'll be good to get back into the swing of things. I also need to get myself ready for going to uni in September. I still need to send off my student loan form, my acceptance form, and just generally get everything prepared. it's gonna be a great summer! :)

I don't like her voice in the slightest. I'm getting irritated by all this easy-listening crap on the airwaves at the moment (Joss Stone, Norah Jones, Jamie Cullum, Katie Melua). It's all so excruciatingly bland, and I'm getting worried it's going to become the next "big thing" in popular music. :confused:

Oasis - All Around The World // The Beatles - Hey Jude The "na na na" parts sound very similar Oasis - Fuckin' In The Bushes // Led Zeppelin - Stairway To Heaven the chorus riff in FITB is almost exactly the same as the beginning of the Stairway to Heaven guitar solo I could list quite a lot of Oasis ones, so I'll leave it at just those two for now :confused:

of course. why should it be a problem? changing your mind isn't such a big deal. my current favourite is Paranoid Android by Radiohead, and it has been for a good few years now. But that doesn't mean I should feel bad if I suddenly come across a song I like more. I'll just shrug and say "okay, so Paranoid Android is now my second favourite, and this one is now my favourite".

Well, things like Pythagoras' Theorem, Newton's laws of physics, the dates when Roman Emperors were born and died, and how the nervous system works aren't common knowledge either.

I've never really found it to be that brilliant. It's good, but it's probably one of my least favourites on there. There There is my favourite on Hail To The Thief. The whole last section sends a chill down my spine, especially where everything kicks in and Thom sings "We are accidents waiting to happen". Probably one of my favourite Radiohead songs.
