I called ticketmaster, the lady there said there are tickets that are going to be released, but check back in late July or so. And I asked her how fast it had sold out, she estimated about 5 minutes, she said she was only able to get one set for somebody.

My god are you serious? I thought it was 15 minutes at least, but nope 8 minutes.....damn.

Advice on what? How to be together? Sell them to scalpers and pay for tickets that are together. Or be happy that you got tickets at all. :/

Wow awesome! Someone I know in Ireland was like, yep I'm getting it tomorrow (tomorrow being today) and I was all confused, cause I thought that it came out on the Monday...but no...........GOD DAMN IRELAND!!! :D

I think that's the appeal, that anyone listening can hear it and go "yes, I can relate to that, I feel what this guy is singing about, he's not faking it or trying to come up with some pretentious way of describing being in love". I don't think anyone needs some new innovative way of describing their emotions, the way that they're described already strikes a chord already, and besides, everyone knows that their best music usually comes accidentally and the lyrics that accompany the music just fit like that, it's best not to tamper with it. As a non-sequitor though, I just heard White Shadows on the radio, and that was super exciting. :)

Wow, those are awesome! I just said "that's cool" out loud at work when I first saw the Coldplay one hehehe. Anyways, show us the results when you finish making them! If they turn out well, you should seriously consider starting something up cause they're awesome and I'd wear it! BTW, is the T-rex one for Dinosaur Jr.?

The record companies keep saying "From our point of view and stance, we believe that downloading is illegal blahblahblahblah" and all I want to do is yell to them that it doesn't matter what THEY think, it matters what the COURT and what the GOVERNMENT thinks that's the issue here!!! I could say that from my point of view, Earth's ruled by a fluffy bunny living on Haiti, but it doesn't matter because if I tried to proclaim the glory of the Bunny by overthrowing the government, they'd sick the police on my ass.

Yeah, downloading tracks is not illegal everywhere. It certainly isn't here in Canada, and from what I know, putting mp3's onto your Kazaa folder isn't considered sharing by the courts, so it isn't an issue.

This sucks, being at a computer with speakers, but unable to hear Radio 1 because my internet connection doesn't allow me to connect to radio stations that use Real....grr.

I saw the ad myself!!!! I got my mom to stop doing what she was doing and forced her to share in my excitement, ha. I've been watching Much the entire night just to see if I can see that preview again. And on separate but equally good news, Coldplay debuted on MuchMusic's Countdown at #26! It's the Big One of the week (ie the one that debuted highest). :)
