Has anyone received theirs yet? I got mine yesterday, It's so pretty! It was really amusing reading all the stuff they wrote inside the cross...if only I could make out half of it! :lol: Love it :heart:

They played Brothers & Sisters in the early days, around 1999-2000. The only songs they really haven't ever played are a ton of b-sides (I can only think of Animals, Help is Around the Corner, One I Love, 1.36 and Proof?) Everything off the albums has, except for Twisted Logic. Though hopefully that'll change soon with the upcoming Latin American tour! :pleased:

All four of her albums are amazingly classic but I think my favorite is 11:11, simply for Braille. She's very clever and quirky.. and it's kinda fun how she says certain words with a strong New Yorkan accent too. I think I'm gonna go up to Georgia to see her in April. My favorite line: (Ghost of Corporate Future) "When he gets to the crowded subway flatform he takes off both of this shoes He steps right into somebody's fat loogie and everyone who sees him says 'eww'" Poor guy! :laugh4:

Well.. our lovely Nadia set the standard, I just re-posted and clicked submit! :lol: All credits to her :wink: Yay suggestions! :D But unforch, their base prices are kinda costy :embarassed: Just imagine if we make all the shirts with the Value Tee, we'd have to sell them at nearly $16 just to raise $5. Cafepress is slightly cheaper, but it's still too much for just a tee. Producing the shirts in bulk would be our best bet, but I'm not sure how we'd get our screennames printed on them that way. I think we can only get them customized with sites like Zazzle and Cafepress, and even then it'd be tricky to get every one of our names on a shirt. What we can do, is just print everyone's name who's in the club (or otherwise if they let us know) on the back of the shirt and that way we can still do production in bulk and no special customization is needed.

Ah that's so funny! The only thing that's actually incorrect is the ampersand in X&Y though, it's obvious they intentionally left out the space code (00100) in the singles so one can see that it's more than one word. Also the code isn't generally colored and it's doesn't have underscores to define one letter, those were added for a visual effect.

I love the t-shirt idea. Especially since we (Lune, an_cat, frosty and I) have entertained that thought a few times. There's a few ways I know we can go about it.. one is through eBay's "Giving Works" listings. It's basically a fundraiser program (supported by MissionFish) that certifies us as a charity organization and since we can promote ourselves with that program, any person (not just us from CPing) can purchase if they're interested. There's a few other benefits too, they have the specifics here. There's a lot of things to consider with this option though, and we'd have to get the CCC certified by eBay/MissionFish. Another way is using eBay without the Giving Works program. I'm thinking it'll be more or less the same thing, except we won't be able to promote our listing and no tax deductibles. And there's cafepress, which is like a marketplace that allows you to create or design a product using their template, so to speak. But they have some pricey base prices.. it could get expensive, depending on what we use. Anyone knows of others? Edit: Oh! And Nadia had created these tshirts once. I made some but those flunked the Debs test! :lol: (click to enlarge - or here & here to see the posts) There's only one correction for these, the "yeah we do's" in the logo have to go, but that's easily fixable.

I had bumped into this 3DDtv site some months ago and it says on there that there would be a "How We Saw the World (Part One)". (I think this might've been the DVD cover art?) But there is no mention anywhere of a part two. :sad: I also think it's the tour diary. Shame none of this is being released, really.

Can you provide a link? Because Chris isn't confirmed for any anti-global global warming benefit. And I don't get why you believe the world is for him to save.. Chris supports Make Trade Fair/Oxfam. This does not make the guy an environmentalist. Anyhow their family car is the BMW. When alone Chris drives a moped. And they also own a Hybrid (Prius). I'd say it's quite a stretch to say Coldplay doesn't care about their fans for not giving a reason. If they didn't care they wouldn't even bother doing these little silly surprises, like Away Day and Nappies and the 2004 Xmas cheer.. not every band does things like that. I don't hold the lack of DVD info agaisnt them. It seems as if something went wrong either in the filming or production or somewhere in the process, because no one even knows when they'll be broadcasting it. It makes no sense that the DVD is perfect, there and ready to go and Coldplay/EMI just don't feel like releasing it and on top of that, lingering to give a broadcast date. To me it seems like something went wrong and it's not in the best interest of the fans to know the details. Or else we would've known them by now.
