I like them. Pour Me isn't my favorite but then again it never has been. The only thing about The World Turned is that is too similar to other songs on X&Y. It has SoS moments and Twisted Logic and X&Y and Things I Don't Understand moments. Too much stepping on songs, but I can still enjoy it. Really glad it's not on the album and it's a bside.

It does sound good live, they played it at early buzz gigs. But really, you can't play EVERY song. People will always want one that's not in the setlist. Can't have it all :sneaky:

Chris and Guy went to Seattle's The Edge station, and there's an interview from LA's KROQ but both of those were just that, an interview. They did have an acoustic session for the Toronto radio station (102.1 The Edge) where they played some 3 or 4 tracks. That one was awhile ago though, back in May.

That's just ridiculous. Oy. Chris doesn't only listen to British music, right? He listens to Arcade Fire, and U2 and Radiohead and Kraftwerk and Johnny Cash...everyone! How can you say that just because he moves to America he'll listen to just American music? Makes no sense. Plus, Chris already likes rap, he's said that alot and has never incorporated it into his music. Except Nappies, which we all love :D As for more publicity, another negative. They've been in and out of LA and NY and have lived in those places periodically and nothing changes. They won't be a brad-jen because they don't want to be. Couples like that always do interviews for popular mags together and such - don't see Gwyn and Chris doing that. I don't like the band being separated bit though, but they'll be on tour for a long time anyway, together. Chris can't decide not to move because of his job, his family should come first.

I like Kanye's music, but he's just SO cocky and bigheaded - I can't stand it. I don't even want to listen to his new album, but I do love College Dropout. Cockyness is just such an ugly trait. I would hate it if he toured with Coldplay for that sole reason. He would just go around talking how musically diverse he is for touring with Coldplay and U2 or whomever. Eugh. :sick2:

While I do prefer the VMA's in NY or LA, the reggaeton lasted a total of like 2 minutes. There was no salsa. But it was indeed wac..lol Not sure how true this is, but there's rumors here (Miami) that supposedly Suge knight was shot in the leg at Kanye's after party. Woy.
