After that, in Daylight, things start to improve. But then in A Whisper, he talks about how even though he's happier, he's still doubtful about the direction of his life.

I love drumming and I used to into it a lot as a kid. So I'd give anything to be Will. He's an awesome drummer imho, his timing is just impeccable.

Okay, seriously. Stargate produced the soundtrack for the DreamWorks movie Home and for me that's an example of some very cool pop music.

Here's another idea. You know nothing more than the rest of us. We already knew the single was due during October. The "news" was your statement that we'd hear it in "a couple of days". And I'm sorry, but that's just not the same as 2-3 weeks. Don't stir up ungrounded rumors. While it may not matter to you, it does matter at least to some degree to some of us in here. And while we're at it, I would like to call BS on your statement that it would be "rockier than usual". Do you have any idea how disappointed people will get when that turns out to not be true? Sorry if you guys feel that I'm being harsh, but the posts I quoted above completely ticked me off.

Dude, that's a movie moment. I also had one yesterday morning. I was on my way to work, listening to Amazing Day in the car. The sun was rising and fog was hanging low over the fields. And just as I came to the spot with the most stunning view a flock of birds flew in front of my car and I hit the climax of the song. Unforgettable.

I've really come to like this song. It makes me feel really peaceful. Guess I need it right now, as I'm going through some tough times. I really think this song is beautiful.

Don't forget the usual criticisms: there is not enough Jonny. OH WAIT there is. There is not enough Guy. OH WAIT. Will isn't playing "real" drums. OH WAIT. And as for the lyrics: think about how much better they are than most lyrics on GS. And it isn't actually line after line of cliche. I know they are not entirely original theme wise, but overall I think it's a good song. I hope we will hear the studio version of this on AHFOD.

The instrumental is pretty cool IMHO. Sort of gives another perspective on the song.

Well, I do agree that the studio version is more bland compared to the live version. The live version is awesome IMHO. And all in all I think it's a great song.

I think Us Against the World and U.F.O. are both underrated. Especially the latter seems to get a lot of hate. To me those two are true gems. Oh, and of course Major Minus.

The notion of flying/being up in the air is also kind of built in to the album title Parachutes. :)
