  1. Can I just point out if it hasn't been already: The music video from India is probably for Hymn of the Weekend, the 2nd "rocket powered" single off AHFOD feat. Beyoncé. It seems to fit with the feeling of what we've seen from the video shoot.
  2. Dude, don't put interludes in your playlist.
  3. I feel it growing on me. Probably listened to it more than a hundred times today.
  4. I can't wait to hear the "rocket powered" Hymn for the Weekend! Right now I'm just wishing my neighbor would leave, so I can listen to AOAL on FULL VOLUME! :D It will probably not be my favorite off AHFOD, but it's pretty good imo.
  5. I was thinking the same thing.
  6. That's a serious amount of likes/shares!
  7. Okay dude, so is that like the latest of your 500,000 random predictions. Please. I try to be pretty tolerant but I've sometimes felt that if I saw one more nonsense "I reckon" I'd have to grab someone and shake them. Ironically a few people will want to do the same to me now, I'm sorry. Tapatalk needs a block function.
  8. And two more things: they really understood how to get the audience going. It was basically a huge party! Everyone was jumping and moving and singing loudly throughout the show. And the sound quality was GREAT. I loved that they didn't crank the volume beyond what the equipment could take without distorting the sound. There was still plenty of punch and bass, and it was still LOUD. But not unpleasantly loud. :)
  9. I just experienced Imagine Dragons live in Copenhagen yesterday. And I have to say it was mindblowingly AWESOME I like their music but for me it's not on Coldplay's level. But MAN can they pull off a show! It was such a sharp and well produced performance with great light and visual effects. The lead singer was awesome, and so was the whole band.
  10. It's a very strong album. Many many great songs.
  11. I have to say I agree. People are of course free to have their own favorites, but everyone must also recognize that there are completely objective reasons for AROBTTH to be considered better than MX that go beyond just taste. I agree with what is stated above that AROBTTH is a classic, timeless album and MX will never be considered to live up to that same standard. I'm not trying to hate on people who love MX, I get that. I've listened to MX more than any of CP's other albums. But still there is no denying that AROBTTH is Coldplay's masterpiece and they will most likely never be able to top it themselves.
  12. I'm dead serious people! For real! Maybe I'm crazy but I'm not lying or joking. [emoji23] A few tips: don't use speakers or earphones. Use good headphones. If you can, listen to the CD version which has the highest quality. YouTube videos are very compressed so details like that are most likely lost. And if you're into Apple your iPad or Mac has a much more powerful sound card than the iPhone. I have the CD ripped in highest quality on to my iPad so that's what I use. The lyrics go "I'm ready for it all, love. I'm ready for the pain. Meet under suuuu..." and right in the middle of that word starting at the 1:08 mark I hear "oceans, oceans, oceans".
  13. Well, it's not like I have a superpower but I hear "oceans, oceans, oceans" at the 1:08-1:12 mark-ish. No source, just trying to listen carefully. [emoji28]
  14. It could be? Again, not absolutely sure but it sounds like "oceans" to me.
  15. And I don't mean to be a tease but that threefold repetition "oceans, oceans, oceans" is repeated a few times during the song, but it's buried pretty deep in the mix. I'm not saying I'm absolutely certain but it sure sounds like it to me. Guess I need to find me some stems or something. [emoji38]
  16. Okay, so I took a close listen to this in my quiet apartment with an iPad and a pair of Grado headphones (i.e. good ones). I'm still not sure about the "O..." - I tried pushing the headphones right against my ears which made it sound kind of funny, but it sounded kind of like "oceans". But it's really not very clear. I've always assumed it was the beginning of that word because of the intonation. I am sure about the other not two but actually three times he sings it though. It's Chris' voice so he's basically doing his own backing vocals. Listen for a deeper tone than the rest of the song (about the same as in say, All Your Friends) with a bit of echoey effect on it. After the "O..." he sings "You got to find yourself alone in this world, you got to find yourself alo..." and right there he sings "oceans" three times under his own voice. I'm sure you can here it if you listen carefully right at that spot.
  17. I definitely should. I'm not saying I'm 100% certain. But I do have above average hearing. Is anyone even around when I get home in a couple of hours, so I can try and confirm it?[emoji38] I feel like cutting it out of the song and amplifying it so you guys can hear it.
  18. I'm not lying! But maybe I'm crazy..[emoji16]
  19. I just heard it in the car and BESIDES that one time where kinda maybe says it it's actually said TWO more times! (In a deeper tone right after the "O..." twice right after each other)
  20. I'm definitely going to listen to Oceans in my headphones when I get home, and see if I can really hear it. If I can't hear it in my Grado headphones in a quiet apartment... it's not there. [emoji38] but I still think that the "O..." is supposed to be oceans even though it's cut off.
  21. I think in the studio version you kind of have to "want to hear it". But I believe that's what it's supposed to be. Based on the fact that he says it more clearly in the live version. Glad I'm not crazy, and other people were actually able to hear it/find it[emoji38]
  22. You hear it now? [emoji38]
  23. ^ :)
  24. Well, somewhere around 3 quarters into the song he says "O..." and if you listen really carefully you can hear him complete the word. He sings it more clearly/loudly in the live version. :)
  25. He kind of whispers/mumbles it once.
