I feel like this LP7 will be more of a successor to Viva La Vida tbh-- they wouldn't repeat something like MX so soon after all
  2. Oh- it must just be an issue on my phone browser then
  3. I think they took the article down-- does this mean that it says things we aren't supposed to know yet?? :0
  4. Agreed! I am so excited for this album I can't even put it into words!
  5. What is the "insider info" that he's bragging about? We already know the album length... What else is he saying??
  6. It looks like the leaked amazon release dates were at least partially correct heheh :sneaky:
  7. I REALLLLY hope this album doesn't have an iTunes first play-- I want my first experience of it to be from my glorious new CD :concerned:
  8. I agree with this! People still know they're coming out with an album, they're just not being obnoxious about it :)
  9. Skypala posted a topic in Midnight
Midnight is already number 3 on U.S. iTunes after only 3 hours-- Midnight could surprise everyone as being big hit! First with Magic, now midnight rising in the charts, and then ASFOS in a couple weeks, Coldplay may have delivered a three song knockout punch What do you think?
  10. Does anyone remember how well/much Viva La Vida was promoted compared to MX/ Ghost Stories?
  11. Skypala replied to Wilson's topic in Coldplay
Wait what? I'm confused haha :P
  12. Could someone also PM me the remix :grateful:
  13. Skypala replied to Wilson's topic in Coldplay
I'm gonna have to disagree with you-- I don't find the new songs "dull" in the least bit-- I actually find them quite tasteful, and certainly some of the most musically stimulating output since the Viva era. They may not be "normal" but that does not mean they are not superb, excellent compositions-- ones that could potentially see Grammy recognition.
  14. I agree-- if ASFOS is better than Viva La Vida as some have said, then this could be a very special album indeed! :excited:
  15. I actually believe it may go on to be one of, if not their best selling album to date-- I have seen a remarkable (and surprising) demand from other people my age (in high school) who have really taken to both Magic and Midnight. I feel like this album will be a critical success-- one that will draw in more fans who were critical of the band in the past and will make this (despite it's low key marketing) one of their best selling albums!
  16. What do you mean by "pulled on the reigns"? :)
  17. How in the hell would you know that the songs are "so so"...?¿?¿?¿ We've barely even heard a third of the album, so...
  18. Has anyone else noticed that the cover art for the Target deluxe edition seems to be a darker shade of blue than the regular one?
  19. Could you describe the song in detail, please?
  20. Skypala replied to Tash's topic in Ink
Can you describe it more in detail please? What previous Coldplay song does it sound the most like?
  21. Well, I highly doubt they would skip a tour for this album-- Coldplay is a band that thrives on touring, as Chris has said in the past. Why would they skip out on sharing the fruits of their labor of the past 2 years by skipping a tour? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. For anyone who was at the shoot/ concert: Which previous Coldplay album(s) is Ghost Stories most similar too AND Do you think it could be their most critically praised album to date (surpassing AROBTTH)? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
