  1. God this album just flows. It's so good! I give most songs a 10. Army of One is one of my favorite CP tracks ever now. And X Marks the Spot is so far from the worst thing they've ever done.
  2. For all those who didn't share the leak with me - thank you! It was a long wait this week- But tomorrow feels like Christmas!

  5. I just heard Hymn for the Weekend- a song I expected to hate from all that i read on here. You know what? I f-ing loved it! Game-changer. Like Dylan at Newport. Get over it old-players. Rave on.
  6. If that means you wrote it - nice job. Not having heard the album - I gleaned more from this review than the dozens of fan 'critiques' I've read here.
  7. No offense to anyone here - But finally, thank God a well- written professional review. ^
  8. Not having heard the leak - I can't say what's what. But why have a kick ass drummer like Will and the not use him and rely on electric drums? As far as Up&up - I loved the live version and am disappointed to hear the studio version is a dud. I do know that I liked a lot of the live versions of GS better than the album. They just had more energy. So I'm sure that type of thing - hearing the one version first - kind of predujices the thing. But again - I haven't heard the leak and at this point it doesn't appear anyone will share it here. So I'll just wait until Friday - for the clean versions - which always sound better than torrent clips anyway.
  9. I did I was trying to avoid torrents- they mess up my crappy little laptop
  10. Can someone pm me a link please? I'm reduced to (begging emoji)

    Where did you hear it?

Actually reminds me of Christmas Lights. Last line is great.

I love this song after only 8 seconds. Cannot wait to hear it.
  14. Army of One sounds massive! I can't get that hook out of my head. Chills.
  15. Um I logged onto this thread to read actual reviews - are there any more of those?
  16. Interesting. I like it about as well as I liked Princess of China upon first hearing it - which is to say...hmm...different - a lot going on there - I need a few more listens...then I will likely love it. Definitely not an immediate grabber like Charlie Brown was.
  17. Funny I thought same other day - remembering the anticipation. I played entire album on drums for first time yesterday. The pace was so slow - I was drooling to get to ASFoS!
  18. I love when he says Coldplay ripped off Arcade Fire. Please. I really didn't need to listen to anymore.
  19. 5 mins reinforces my opinion that they are a Wayne's World outfit. What a fucking joke. They should have kept their mouths shut.
  20. At any rate I think AIMH is a terrible opener. Sets totally wrong tone for CP live. Should be Atlas if anything.
  21. Wow. That puts it in perspective. To give AROBTTH a 5.1? They clearly don't like Coldplay.
  22. Can you imagine having to play the same song at every gig? I'd get so sick of it.
  23. I feel more like it's a war song.
