well it's more like tests actually...if i do well in these ones and in others like these in the beginning of june i don't have to do final exams that contain everything we learned these 4 months! and these small tests have less things to study and are in general easier...so i prefer to do them well now to be able to have vacations earlier :sneaky: i'm studying international relations and you?? i'm more or less in the same situation as you Miguel...i know when to use them but i don't know the grammar rules!!...but as Miguel said we can correct you and if you have some specific doubt tell me and i will check it in a portuguese grammar book or ask someone here!

exactly the same happens to me...but with spanish of course! i can help you if you want :)....but it will be difficult for you to learn how to pronounce words right? :confused:... oh and currently i don't have much time because my exams at uni are coming, but whenever i can i'm here! ;)

yup...this is exactly the idea that comes to mind when i think of people in the us...but of course i know it's a stereotype... i don't think europeans hate americans (from usa), i think we have that stereotype from tv shows like dr phill or something! and i don't know exactly the name of the mtv show but i guess it's called "sweet sixteen" or something like that, this show definitly gave me some of these ideas!! but at the end of the day i guess europeans just hate what bush has done and not exactly the people....and it's hard to talk about what europeans think...there are so many different countries in europe and thus so many different opinions, so maybe what i think about this subject is only related to what i see here in portugal

^^i completly understand your opinion! i guess that in all coppola movies you end up with that feeling...but i liked this movie because i was expecting it to be slow in the coppola way and besides i like history so to me the movie was interesting...but not because it has a lot of action of course EDIT: an inconvenient truth - 7.5/10 ... good movie to alert everyone to a big problem but kind of boring sometimes
