1. Here it is my poem Yellow Path You came at midnight to show me strength In a moment I was hopeless In a moment darkness was all I could see Coming true my biggest fears Since that day I've seen miracles Happening in the simplest way Telling the world believe in love Behind your notes I see an open door Where colors are ready to burst And feelings aren't a hidden chest Fears are still there But the yellow path is leading me And I'm followed by sun rays Keeping me warm for when midnight come back
2. There is a Mexican foundation call Michou y Mau which help children who have suffered severed burns and their lives are at risk. Michou and Mau (mother and son) lost their lives when their house was accidentally burned. Mau died because of the lack of medical treatment, that's why the founder (her grandmother) helps Mexican children to receive the specialised medical and psychological treatment to those who doesn't have the money to pay for it. I'll leave the link, it's written in Spanish so I'm afraid you have to use Google to translate it. According to the website it's possible to donate using PayPal http://www.fundacionmichouymau.org/index.php Edit: this is another link to donate https://www.aporta.org.mx/michouymau/trasladoporemergencias
3. This is so hard to say but my vote goes to Amsterdam
4. This is so beautiful!<3
5. That's the power of Coldplay lyrics! Somehow they can be related to our own experiences, or some other times we just like the songs. That's why I like AHFOD, I don't want to feel depressed in this stage of my life. I have experience that and it was frustrating. And now, I might feel a little bit down but I have AHFOD and some other songs to make me feel like I'm alive again ;)
6. So, what do you think? Should we wait for Jedi Leo to organise it? Or does anyone wants to organise it?
7. alisbe replied to Jedi Leo's topic in The Lounge
Great to hear from you! Best wishes!
8. I have listened to Adele's new album and I might say it's boring. The only songs that I like are Hello and Million Years Ago. I agree her voice is amazing but AHFOD has more variety than 25. Anyways, I'm so happy they won for the 4th time best British Group, they truly deserve it! And I like their performance, but I didn't like Chris voice, the chorus sounded great though.
9. I've just watched the performance and I agree Chris voice wasn't good. Will did a great job. The visuals were fantastic and the instrumental part was perfect. But the best part was knowing Coldplay won Best British Group and that they received the award from Simon Pegg!!! February 2016 won't be forgotten!!!
10. OMG, this is fantastic. I love writing, I'm not sure I'm that good but I'll try my best :) Just one question: are we going to post our poem in this thread?
11. And I have an English course to attend at 2 pm or 8pm UK time which means I won't watch it too
12. I'm listening to Sparks while I'm reading your post about slow songs. It's such a good song I love the bass and Chris voice.
13. This is incredible, he's an inspiration
14. Cliffs - Farro
15. Yes, they've done it before back in 2009. They performed Viva La Vida at the Brits, lost in their 4 nominations and later they performed for the War Child gig. Here you have an article, it seems it was one of the best live performances they have ever done http://www.nme.com/news/coldplay/42890
16. Lol, this reminds me that thread "you know you're obsessed with Coldplay when... you know when is their next performance without writing down it in a calendar!
17. I won't be able to watch the Brit awards hopefully someone will record it and share it with us. Here it is the last appearance Coldplay did in 2012 with an explosive opening! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgeO4V1JdC4 Mobile Link: https://youtu.be/VgeO4V1JdC4
18. I love Coldplay slow songs, IMO they're so good I can't name a bad one. But if I have to name just one I'd choose Careful Where You Stand. The lyrics are great, Chris voice is fantastic, this songs makes me feel so good
19. It impressed me how, whoever did the photoshop was able to make Chris' face fit on it!
20. I often look at the stop light and I try to give my first step in that number <42
21. I think HFTW will have the same effect as Paradise. I remember it took about 12 weeks to reach the top of the charts to Paradise Mobile Link: https://twitter.com/officialcharts/status/701824527295057920?s=09
